Acadêmicos de Niterói pisa forte na Amaral Peixoto e recebe presenças ilustres de Marcelo Freixo, Talíria Petrone, Verônica Lima e André Bento

Foi com muito canto e samba no pé que a Acadêmicos de Niterói abriu a temporada de ensaios de rua no Centro da cidade do sorriso. Com o refrão forte ecoando pela avenida Amaral Peixoto, a escola deu o pontapé inicial aos treinos rumo a estreia no Grupo Especial no carnaval de 2026.
Abrilhantando ainda mais o evento, a escola recebeu a Deputada Federal e Líder da bancada do Psol Talíria Petrone, a Deputada Estadual e Presidente da Comissão de Cultura da Alerj, Verônica Lima, o Presidente da Embratur, Marcelo Freixo, o Presidente da Neltur, André Bento. Todos foram recebidos pelo Presidente da escola Wallace Palhares e o Presidente de Honra, o Vereador Anderson Pipico.
Com uma homenagem ao Presidente da República, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, a agremiação será a primeira escola a desfilar no domingo de carnaval, 15 de fevereiro, pelo Grupo Especial do carnaval do Rio de Janeiro.

With plenty of singing and samba spirit, Acadêmicos de Niterói kicked off its street rehearsal season in the heart of the “City of Smiles.” To the sound of a strong and vibrant refrain echoing down Amaral Peixoto Avenue, the samba school officially began its preparations for its debut in the Grupo Especial at Carnival 2026.
Adding even more prestige to the event, the school welcomed Federal Deputy and PSOL Leader Talíria Petrone, State Deputy and President of the Alerj Cultural Committee Verônica Lima, Marcelo Freixo, President of Embratur, and André Bento, President of Neltur. They were all received by the school’s President Wallace Palhares and Honorary President, City Councilman Anderson Pipico.
Paying tribute to the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the school will be the first to parade on Carnival Sunday, February 15, as part of Rio de Janeiro’s Grupo Especial lineup.

With vibrant singing and samba in full swing, Acadêmicos de Niterói opened its street rehearsal season in the heart of the “City of Smiles.” To the sound of a strong and captivating refrain echoing along Amaral Peixoto Avenue, the samba school kicked off its preparations for its long-awaited debut in Rio’s Grupo Especial at Carnival 2026.
Adding even more prestige to the event, the school welcomed Federal Deputy and PSOL Leader Talíria Petrone, State Deputy and President of the Alerj Cultural Committee Verônica Lima, Marcelo Freixo, President of Embratur, and André Bento, President of Neltur. All were warmly received by the school’s President Wallace Palhares and Honorary President, City Councilman Anderson Pipico.
