Projeto relembra que o samba também é conhecimento, oportunidade e inclusão, com oficinas que já apresentam avanços educacionais em todas as idades
Na última segunda feira (1), véspera do Dia Nacional do Samba, o Aprendizes do Salgueiro realizou a entrega de certificados das oficinas de reforço escolar, inglês e alfabetização de adultos, em uma cerimônia marcada pela emoção e por histórias de superação.
A iniciativa reforça que o samba é mais do que tradição e cultura, é também educação, oportunidade e transformação social para a comunidade.
Os alunos concluintes receberam certificados pelo empenho e pela dedicação ao longo do período de aulas. Um reconhecimento simbólico, mas de grande impacto para quem vem superando desafios e conquistando novas habilidades.
A ação também contou com a entrega de cestas básicas às famílias participantes, fortalecendo o vínculo comunitário e o cuidado social que marcam o trabalho dos Aprendizes.
Mesmo sem foco em grandes números, o projeto se destaca pela qualidade do acompanhamento individual e pelos resultados já percebidos no dia a dia.
Na alfabetização de adultos, participantes que iniciaram sem domínio da leitura já começam a reconhecer palavras, formar frases e ganhar autonomia. No reforço escolar, crianças apresentam avançam com mais segurança na escrita e demonstram confiança crescente em suas capacidades.
Segundo Mara Rosa, presidente do Aprendizes do Salgueiro, esse é o objetivo central do projeto: oferecer ferramentas reais de mudança. “O samba é cultura, é identidade, mas também é conhecimento. Ele abre portas. Aqui, cada certificado representa uma conquista e o início de novas possibilidades. Estamos formando cidadãos mais confiantes, preparados e conscientes do seu valor”, afirma.
Cerca de 50 certificados foram entregues, refletindo o esforço conjunto de profissionais voluntários. Mais do que um encerramento de ciclo, a cerimônia reforça o compromisso da escola com a educação como pilar de desenvolvimento social.
Mara Rosa destaca ainda a importância de fortalecer parcerias para ampliar o alcance das oficinas. “Quando apoiamos a educação, investimos no futuro da nossa comunidade. Buscamos parceiros que compreendam esse impacto e que queiram caminhar com a gente, para que cada vez mais pessoas possam ter acesso a oportunidades reais de aprendizado.”
Com iniciativas como essa, o Aprendizes do Salgueiro reafirma que o samba é movimento, mas também é transformação, dentro e fora da quadra.

This past Monday (1), on the eve of National Samba Day, Aprendizes do Salgueiro held its certificate ceremony for its tutoring, English, and adult literacy workshops — an event marked by emotion and inspiring stories of overcoming challenges. The initiative reinforces that samba is more than tradition and culture; it is also education, opportunity, and social transformation for the community.
Students who completed the courses received certificates recognizing their dedication and commitment throughout the learning period. It is a symbolic gesture, but one of great impact for those who have been overcoming difficulties and developing new skills. The event also included the distribution of food baskets to participating families, strengthening community bonds and the social care that define the work of Aprendizes.
Even without focusing on large numbers, the project stands out for the quality of its individualized support and for the results already visible in daily life. In the adult literacy program, participants who began without reading proficiency are now recognizing words, forming sentences, and gaining autonomy. In the tutoring workshops, children are progressing with greater confidence in writing and showing growing belief in their own abilities.
According to Mara Rosa, president of Aprendizes do Salgueiro, this is the central mission of the project: to offer real tools for change. “Samba is culture, it is identity, but it is also knowledge. It opens doors. Here, each certificate represents an achievement and the beginning of new possibilities. We are shaping citizens who are more confident, prepared, and aware of their worth,” she says.
Around 50 certificates were awarded, reflecting the collective effort of volunteer professionals. More than marking the end of a cycle, the ceremony reinforces the school’s commitment to education as a pillar of social development. Mara Rosa also highlights the importance of strengthening partnerships to expand the reach of the workshops. “When we support education, we invest in the future of our community. We seek partners who understand this impact and who want to walk with us, so that more and more people can have access to real learning opportunities.”
With initiatives like this, Aprendizes do Salgueiro reaffirms that samba is movement — but it is also transformation, both inside and beyond the quadra.
