_Celebração reuniu comunidade e segmentos da Rainha de Ramos_

A poucos dias do Carnaval 2025, a Imperatriz Leopoldinense realizou na tarde deste sábado (22) uma Missa em Ação de Graças no Santuário da Penha, Zona Norte do Rio.

Acompanhada por sua comunidade e segmentos, a atual vice-campeã, como já faz tradicionalmente, foi agradecer pela trajetória deste pré-Carnaval, que promete um primoroso trabalho no próximo dia 2 de março, e também pedir bençãos para todos que fazem parte da agremiação.

Nem mesmo o calor que faz no Rio de Janeiro foi capaz de parar o povo da Rainha de Ramos e de todo o Complexo do Alemão e Zona da Leopoldina, que lotaram as escadarias do santuário com bandeiras da verde, branco e dourado.

“Está chegando a hora [do desfile] e nada mais justo do que virmos aqui, como fazemos todos os anos, já agradecer por todo o lindo trabalho realizado e que será entregue na Marquês de Sapucaí daqui a uma semana. O Carnaval da Imperatriz está praticamente pronto, então o momento é de celebração, rumo a décima estrela de nossa história”, afirmou a presidente Catia Drumond.

The celebration brought together the community and segments of the Queen of Ramos
Just days before Carnival 2025, Imperatriz Leopoldinense held a Thanksgiving Mass this Saturday (22) at the Penha Sanctuary in Rio’s North Zone.
Accompanied by its community and various segments, the current runner-up, following its tradition, gathered to give thanks for the pre-Carnival journey, which promises an outstanding performance on March 2, and to seek blessings for all members of the samba school.
Not even the intense heat of Rio de Janeiro could stop the people of the Queen of Ramos, along with residents from the Alemão Complex and the Leopoldina region, who filled the sanctuary’s steps, waving green, white, and gold flags.
“The time [for the parade] is coming, and it’s only right that we come here, as we do every year, to give thanks for all the beautiful work done and for what will be presented at Marquês de Sapucaí in just a week. Imperatriz’s Carnival is practically ready, so this is a moment of celebration as we strive for the tenth star in our history,” said President Catia Drumond.
