BEIJA-FLOR DE NILÓPOLIS APRESENTA OS SAMBAS CONCORRENTES PARA O CARNAVAL 2026*
_Doze obras disputam o hino de “Bembé”, enredo que celebra a ancestralidade, a fé e a liberdade do povo negro_
A Beija-Flor de Nilópolis deu largada à sua disputa de samba-enredo para o Carnaval 2026 com a entrega oficial das composições concorrentes nesta quinta-feira (31), na quadra da escola. Ao todo, 12 parcerias participam da competição que vai escolher o hino do enredo “Bembé”, desenvolvido pelo carnavalesco João Vitor Araújo.
Inspirado no tradicional Bembé do Mercado — celebração centenária do Candomblé de rua realizada em Santo Amaro da Purificação, no Recôncavo Baiano — o enredo propõe um desfile de fé, resistência e memória ancestral. Os compositores mergulharam na sinopse para criar obras que traduzem em samba a força dos tambores, dos orixás e da presença negra nos espaços públicos.
A disputa segue com eliminatórias abertas ao público na quadra da escola, e a final está marcada para o dia 25 de setembro, quando será conhecido o samba que representará a Beija-Flor na Marquês de Sapucaí em 2026.

Twelve entries compete for the anthem of “Bembé,” a storyline that celebrates ancestry, faith, and the freedom of the Black people
Beija-Flor de Nilópolis has officially kicked off its samba competition for Carnival 2026 with the presentation of the competing songs this Thursday (July 31), at the school’s headquarters. A total of twelve partnerships are participating in the contest to select the official anthem for the theme “Bembé,” developed by carnival designer João Vitor Araújo.
Inspired by the traditional Bembé do Mercado — a century-old street Candomblé celebration held in Santo Amaro da Purificação, in the Recôncavo Baiano — the plot proposes a parade of faith, resistance, and ancestral memory. The composers drew from the synopsis to create works that translate into samba the strength of the drums, the orixás, and the Black presence in public spaces.
The competition will continue with public elimination rounds held at the school’s quadra, and the final is scheduled for September 25, when the samba that will represent Beija-Flor on the Marquês de Sapucaí in 2026 will be announced.
