Beija-Flor dá início aos ensaios rumo ao Carnaval 2026
A partir da próxima quinta-feira, às 21h, a Beija-Flor de Nilópolis dá o pontapé inicial em sua caminhada rumo ao Carnaval 2026. O primeiro ensaio de comunidade acontece na quadra da escola, em Nilópolis, e marca o reencontro dos segmentos com o público após a escolha do samba que embalará o enredo “Bembé”, homenagem à tradicional festa baiana de matriz africana.
O evento reúne todos os segmentos da azul e branca da Baixada: o carro de som comandado por Nino do Milênio e Jéssica Ferreira, o bailado do icônico casal de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira Claudinho e Selminha Sorriso, e a bateria Soberana, sob a regência dos mestres Plínio e Rodney, que prometem levantar o público com o ritmo que consagrou a escola.
“É mais um momento pra gente ensaiar, alinhar o canto da comunidade e trabalhar firme por mais um título. A Beija-Flor é movida por essa energia de união, que começa aqui na quadra e ganha força até chegar à Sapucaí”, destaca Marco Antônio Marino, diretor de Carnaval da agremiação. A Beija-Flor será a segunda escola a desfilar na segunda-feira de Carnaval, dia 16 de fevereiro, na Marquês de Sapucaí.

BEIJA-FLOR KICKS OFF REHEARSALS TOWARD CARNIVAL 2026
Starting next Thursday at 9 p.m., Beija-Flor de Nilópolis will begin its journey toward Carnival 2026. The first community rehearsal will take place at the school’s quadra in Nilópolis, marking the reunion of all segments with the public after the selection of the samba that will bring to life the theme “Bembé,” a tribute to the traditional Afro-Bahian celebration.
The event will feature all sectors of the blue-and-white powerhouse from Baixada Fluminense: the sound truck led by Nino do Milênio and Jéssica Ferreira, the graceful performance of the iconic mestre-sala and porta-bandeira duo, Claudinho and Selminha Sorriso, and the Soberana drum section, under the direction of Mestres Plínio and Rodney, who promise to ignite the audience with the rhythm that made the school famous.
“It’s another moment for us to rehearse, strengthen the community’s singing, and work hard for another title. Beija-Flor thrives on this energy of unity that starts here at the quadra and grows stronger until it reaches Sapucaí,” said Marco Antônio Marino, the school’s Carnival Director.
Beija-Flor will be the second school to parade on Carnival Monday, February 16, at the Marquês de Sapucaí.
