Centro de Comando e Controle do 19º BPM monitora ruas de Copacabana

Câmeras do Centro de Comando e Controle do 19º Batalhão de Polícia Militar estão monitorando as ruas de Copacabana, em especial as que dão acesso ao local do palco, ao longo de todo o dia até a dispersão do público do espetáculo da cantora Lady Gaga.

O batalhão também realiza o policiamento ostensivo com dez viaturas no entorno do hotel, e conta ainda com apoio de quadriciclos para o policiamento na faixa de areia; além de torres de observação e equipes de força de ação tática em motocicletas.

Ao todo, a operação para o evento conta com 5,3 mil policiais civis e militares, bombeiros e agentes dos programas Segurança Presente e Lei Seca.

Surveillance efforts intensified for Lady Gaga’s concert, with support from various tactical units

Cameras from the Command and Control Center of the 19th Military Police Battalion are monitoring the streets of Copacabana, particularly those providing access to the concert stage, throughout the day until the dispersal of the crowd following Lady Gaga’s performance.

The battalion is also conducting active policing with ten patrol vehicles in the vicinity of the hotel, and has additional support from quad bikes patrolling the beach area, observation towers, and tactical motorcycle units.

In total, the operation for the event involves 5,300 personnel, including civil and military police officers, firefighters, and agents from the “Segurança Presente” and “Lei Seca” programs.
