Conheça o enredo do Novo Império para o carnaval de 2026

Vice-campeã do Grupo de Avaliação em 2025, a Novo Império divulgou o seu enredo para o carnaval de 2026. A agremiação estreará na Série Bronze com o enredo “No canto sagrado dos pajés e curandeiros: A cura que brota da floresta”, desenvolvido pelos carnavalescos Alex Santiago e Elvis Luiz.

Com as bênçãos dos pajés e curandeiros, a Novo Império levanta seu pavilhão para cantar a força ancestral da mata. Entre o gorjear dos pássaros e o dançar das árvores ao som das cascatas, surge a magia que perfuma a vida com cheiro de beijoim. As energias de Ossain e aroni, num bailado místico, convidam a todos para um banho de fé e renovação.

Será invocado o “Senhor das Folhas” e o poder curativo das plantas medicinais, herança dos nossos ancestrais, que maceram a dor e eliminam epidemias. Ao som do samba, as sementes do amor florescem, curando feridas e trazendo esperança. De bengalas que quebram mandinga a caboclos que evocam “Okê Arô!”, a sabedoria antiga ressurge: o pajé, o curandeiro, o avô que ensina o banho de abô, todos eles guardam o segredo da floresta, a receita infalível contra o medo.

O enredo será lançado oficialmente na feijoada da agremiação, que será realizada no dia 15 de junho.

Discover Novo Império’s Theme for Carnival 2026

Runner-up of the Evaluation Group in 2025, Novo Império has announced its theme for Carnival 2026. The samba school will make its debut in the Bronze Series with the theme “In the Sacred Chant of Shamans and Healers: The Cure that Springs from the Forest”, developed by carnival designers Alex Santiago and Elvis Luiz.
With the blessings of shamans and healers, Novo Império raises its banner to sing the ancestral power of the forest. Among the birdsong and the trees dancing to the sound of waterfalls, magic arises—perfuming life with the scent of beijoim. The energies of Ossain and aroni, in a mystical dance, invite all to bathe in faith and renewal. The “Lord of the Leaves” will be invoked, along with the healing power of medicinal plants—an inheritance from our ancestors who crushed pain and wiped out epidemics.
To the rhythm of samba, the seeds of love blossom, healing wounds and bringing hope. From walking sticks that break spells to caboclos who chant “Okê Arô!”, ancient wisdom resurfaces: the shaman, the healer, the grandfather who teaches the abô bath—each one holds the forest’s secret, the infallible recipe against fear.
The theme will be officially launched during the school’s feijoada event on June 15.
