Gkay recebe croqui de fantasia para o Carnaval de 2026 do G.R.E.S Acadêmicos do Salgueiro
A manhã desta segunda-feira (13) foi marcada por muitas surpresas e emoção no barracão do Salgueiro. A Influencer e empresária Gkay, musa da agremiação em 2026, recebeu das mãos do carnavalesco Jorge Silveira o desenho de sua fantasia.
“Estou muito emocionada e feliz por poder viver esse sonho pela primeira vez. Minha fantasia é linda e me surpreendeu de diversas formas”, conta a Influencer.
Gkay vai desfilar no sexto setor da escola com uma fantasia chamada ‘Antropofágica’, onde irá representar a construção da brasilidade na obra de Rosa Magalhães, influenciada pela antropofagia proposta pela Semana de Arte Moderna de 1922. O movimento, liderado por Oswald de Andrade, defendia a ideia de que o Brasil deveria “devorar” as influências culturais estrangeiras e transformá-las em algo genuinamente brasileiro.
Quando perguntada sobre a sua participação na escola, Gkay afirma que quer ser uma musa presente. “Estou conhecendo a história do Torrão e me apaixonando cada vez mais. Quero estar presente no máximo de compromissos possíveis com o Salgueiro”.
Em 2026, o Salgueiro será a última escola a desfilar na Marques da Sapucaí e levará para a avenida o enredo “A delirante jornada carnavalesca da professora que não tinha medo de bruxa, de bacalhau e nem do pirata da perna-de-pau”, uma homenagem à eterna carnavalesca Rosa Magalhães, a maior campeã da Sapucaí.

Gkay Receives Costume Sketch for the 2026 Carnival from G.R.E.S. Acadêmicos do Salgueiro
The morning of this Monday (13) was filled with surprises and emotion at Salgueiro’s production warehouse. Influencer and entrepreneur Gkay, who will be a muse of the school in 2026, received the sketch of her costume from the hands of carnival designer Jorge Silveira.
“I am very emotional and happy to be able to experience this dream for the first time. My costume is beautiful and surprised me in many ways,” said the influencer.
Gkay will parade in the school’s sixth sector wearing a costume called “Antropofágica” (Anthropophagic), in which she will represent the construction of Brazilian identity in the work of Rosa Magalhães, influenced by the anthropophagy movement proposed during the 1922 Modern Art Week. The movement, led by Oswald de Andrade, defended the idea that Brazil should “devour” foreign cultural influences and transform them into something genuinely Brazilian.
When asked about her participation in the school, Gkay stated that she wants to be a present and engaged muse.
“I am learning the history of Torrão and falling more in love every day. I want to be present at as many commitments as possible with Salgueiro.”
In 2026, Salgueiro will be the last school to parade down the Marquês de Sapucaí, presenting the theme:
“The Delirious Carnival Journey of the Teacher Who Feared Neither Witches, Nor Codfish, Nor the Peg-Legged Pirate,”
a tribute to the eternal carnival designer Rosa Magalhães, the greatest champion of Sapucaí.
