Samba campeão seguirá para a grande final, em setembro, no Rio

A Grande Rio promove neste sábado, 30, a grande final da Seletiva Pernambucana do Concurso de Samba-enredo para o Carnaval  2026. A obra campeã seguirá direto para a grande final, no Rio, em 20 de setembro.

O evento é gratuito, aberto ao público e será realizado a partir das 16h, em frente à sede social do Bloco de Samba Tradição, localizada na Rua Vidal de Negreiros, 102 – Recife/PE. O evento terá a presença de Evandro Malandro, intérprete oficial da Grande Rio, que se apresenta pela primeira vez na etapa pernambucana da disputa. O público também poderá acompanhar a performance do Maracatu Nação Porto Rico, além de outras atrações culturais.

A iniciativa reforça o compromisso da agremiação em valorizar a diversidade cultural e aproximar diferentes tradições artísticas, estabelecendo uma ponte entre o samba carioca e as expressões populares de Pernambuco.

Grande Rio Hosts Pernambuco Selection This Saturday

Winning samba will move on to the grand final in Rio this September
Grande Rio will hold this Saturday, August 30, the grand final of the Pernambuco Selection of the Samba-Enredo Contest for Carnival 2026. The winning composition will go straight to the grand final in Rio de Janeiro on September 20.
The event is free, open to the public, and will take place starting at 4 p.m. in front of the headquarters of Bloco de Samba Tradição, located at Rua Vidal de Negreiros, 102 – Recife/PE.
The evening will feature Evandro Malandro, Grande Rio’s official lead singer, performing for the first time in the Pernambuco stage of the contest. The audience will also enjoy the presentation of Maracatu Nação Porto Rico, along with other cultural attractions.
This initiative reinforces the school’s commitment to valuing cultural diversity and bringing together different artistic traditions, creating a bridge between Rio’s samba and Pernambuco’s popular expressions.
