A caminho do décimo desfile à frente da Sinfônica, Quitéria Chagas segue como rainha de bateria do Império Serrano
Com raiz imperiana, ela continuará brilhando no Reizinho de Madureira rumo ao Carnaval 2026

O Império Serrano confirmou a continuidade de Quitéria Chagas como rainha de bateria para o Carnaval 2026, através das suas redes sociais, nesta sexta-feira (4). A artista, que retornou ao posto para brilhar no desfile de 2025, seguirá à frente da Sinfônica do Samba, agora comandada pelo Mestre Felipe Santos.
Quitéria iniciou sua história como rainha de bateria do Império Serrano em 2006 e, ao longo dos anos, construiu uma relação de amor e respeito com a agremiação da Serrinha. Em 2026, a beldade completará o seu décimo desfile à frente da bateria, reforçando sua conexão com a escola, conforme destacou:
– O Império Serrano é parte da minha história e da minha vida. Pude retornar e, agora, seguir como rainha de bateria é uma honra imensa. A força da mulher no samba está em sua resistência, paixão e dedicação. Eu me sinto privilegiada por representar essa energia dentro da minha escola de coração – celebrou Quitéria Chagas.
Presidente do Império Serrano, Flavio França destacou a importância de Quitéria para a agremiação. Ele celebrou a sequência dela à frente da Sinfônica, que vai estrear um novo mestre de bateria em 2026.
– Quitéria é um símbolo do nosso Império. Sua trajetória na escola traduz a força e a tradição do samba. A permanência dela como rainha de bateria é um reconhecimento da sua história e do carinho que tem pelo pavilhão verde e branco – disse o mandatário.
Aos poucos a equipe do Império Serrano para o Carnaval 2026 vai ganhando forma. Até o momento, além de Quitéria Chagas e do Mestre Felipe Santos, a escola manteve o carnavalesco Renato Esteves, o diretor de carnaval Jeferson Carlos e o diretor de harmonia Paulo Dimitri

With deep roots in the school, she will continue to shine at Reizinho de Madureira as she heads towards Carnival 2026
Império Serrano confirmed, through its social media this Friday (April 4), that Quitéria Chagas will continue as the school’s drum queen for Carnival 2026. The artist, who returned to the role to shine in the 2025 parade, will once again lead the Symphonic of Samba, now under the command of Mestre Felipe Santos.
Quitéria began her journey as Império Serrano’s drum queen in 2006 and, over the years, has built a relationship of love and respect with the school from Serrinha. In 2026, the beauty will mark her tenth parade in front of the bateria, reinforcing her bond with the samba school, as she stated:
“Império Serrano is part of my story and my life. I was able to return and now continuing as drum queen is a tremendous honor. The strength of women in samba lies in their resilience, passion, and dedication. I feel privileged to represent this energy within the school that lives in my heart,” celebrated Quitéria Chagas.
The president of Império Serrano, Flavio França, highlighted Quitéria’s importance to the school. He celebrated her continuation in front of the Symphonic, which will debut a new mestre de bateria in 2026.
“Quitéria is a symbol of our Império. Her trajectory at the school reflects the strength and tradition of samba. Her continued role as drum queen is a recognition of her history and the affection she has for the green and white flag,” said the president.
Little by little, Império Serrano’s team for Carnival 2026 is taking shape. So far, in addition to Quitéria Chagas and Mestre Felipe Santos, the school has also retained carnival designer Renato Esteves, carnival director Jeferson Carlos, and harmony director Paulo Dimitri.
