Império Serrano apresenta figurinos dos casais de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira para o Carnaval 2026
Encontro no Madureira Shopping reuniu casais, carnavalesco e parceiros para celebrar mais uma etapa da preparação do enredo em homenagem a Conceição Evaristo
Seguindo seu planejamento para o Carnaval 2026, o Império Serrano apresentou, na noite da última terça-feira (2), os desenhos dos figurinos de seus casais de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira. O encontro aconteceu no Madureira Shopping e contou com a presença do carnavalesco Renato Esteves, responsável por elaborar e explicar os significados das fantasias para o enredo “Ponciá Evaristo Flor do Mulungu”, que presta homenagem à escritora Conceição Evaristo através de sua obra literária.
A porta-bandeira Maura Luiza, que defenderá pela primeira vez o primeiro pavilhão imperiano, não escondeu a emoção ao receber seu figurino:
“Nem nos meus maiores sonhos eu imaginei um figurino tão lindo e significativo. Estou muito emocionada e confiante para levar o pavilhão do Império Serrano com toda a garra e amor que ele merece. Está maravilhoso”, disse Maura.
O mestre-sala Matheus Machado, de volta à escola em que foi formado e com a qual conquistou o título da Série Ouro em 2022, reforçou as palavras da parceira:
“Superou as minhas expectativas. O figurino é belíssimo. Tenho certeza que faremos um grande trabalho na Avenida e vamos lutar para colocar o Império Serrano de volta ao Grupo Especial”, projeto Machado.
O segundo casal, formado por Pedro Figueiredo e Livya Bergman, também recebeu seus desenhos das mãos de Renato Esteves. A noite terminou em clima de confraternização, com um jantar oferecido pelo Madureira Shopping e o Bar do Adão, parceiros da escola.
O Império Serrano será a quarta escola a desfilar pela Série Ouro no próximo Carnaval, no dia 14 de fevereiro de 2026, no sábado.

Império Serrano Presents Costumes for the Master of Ceremonies and Flag Bearer Couples for Carnival 2026
A gathering at Madureira Shopping brought together couples, the carnival designer, and partners to celebrate another stage in preparing the parade honoring Conceição Evaristo.
Continuing its preparations for Carnival 2026, Império Serrano presented, on Tuesday night (Sept. 2), the costume designs for its master of ceremonies and flag bearer couples. The event took place at Madureira Shopping and featured the presence of carnival designer Renato Esteves, responsible for creating and explaining the meanings behind the costumes for the theme “Ponciá Evaristo – Flor do Mulungu,” a tribute to writer Conceição Evaristo and her literary work.
Flag bearer Maura Luiza, who will represent Império’s first pavilion for the first time, could not hide her emotion upon receiving her costume:
“Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined such a beautiful and meaningful costume. I’m very emotional and confident about carrying Império Serrano’s flag with all the strength and love it deserves. It’s wonderful,” said Maura.
Master of ceremonies Matheus Machado, returning to the school where he was trained and with which he won the Série Ouro title in 2022, echoed his partner’s words:
“It exceeded my expectations. The costume is stunning. I’m certain we will do a great job on the Avenue and will fight to bring Império Serrano back to the Special Group,” said Machado.
The second couple, formed by Pedro Figueiredo and Livya Bergman, also received their costume designs from the hands of Renato Esteves. The evening ended in a spirit of celebration, with a dinner offered by Madureira Shopping and Bar do Adão, partners of the school.
Império Serrano will be the fourth school to parade in the Série Ouro next Carnival, on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
