Artista segue à frente do trabalho visual da escola visando o Carnaval 2026
Nesta quarta-feira (12), o Império Serrano anunciou a renovação do carnavalesco Renato Esteves para o Carnaval 2026. Responsável pelo enredo “O que espanta miséria é festa”, que homenageou Beto Sem Braço no último desfile, ele teve o seu trabalho impactado pelo incêndio que consumiu 97% das fantasias da escola em fevereiro. Esteves demonstrou animação com a nova oportunidade:
– É com muita alegria que eu recebo a missão de seguir no Império Serrano para o próximo ano. Agradeço a rede de afeto e apoio de toda comunidade. Estamos ainda mais unidos e fortes para que em 2026 possamos pisar forte e disputar o campeonato – celebrou.
Apesar do baque sofrido às vésperas do último desfile, o Renato Esteves reafirmou a sua determinação em proporcionar um grande desfile, honrando as tradições do Reizinho de Madureira.
– Sigo com mais gana e vontade de mostrar o meu trabalho, de vestir o imperiano da forma que ele merece. Será um ano de ressurreição das cinzas e voar alto como uma fênix. Obrigado a toda diretoria pelo reconhecimento e pela oportunidade de seguir colorindo de verde e branco o meu coração e a minha comunidade – completou o carnavalesco.
Renato Esteves é o primeiro nome confirmado pelo Império Serrano para o Carnaval 2026. Ao longos dos próximos dias, a escola vai apresentar os nomes da equipe que vai buscar o título da Série Ouro e o tão sonhado retorno ao Grupo Especial.

Artist continues leading the school’s visual work for Carnival 2026
On Wednesday (12), Império Serrano announced the renewal of carnival designer Renato Esteves for Carnival 2026. Responsible for the theme “O que espanta miséria é festa,” which paid tribute to Beto Sem Braço in the last parade, his work was significantly impacted by the fire that consumed 97% of the school’s costumes in February.
Esteves expressed excitement about the new opportunity:
“It is with great joy that I accept the mission of continuing at Império Serrano for another year. I am grateful for the support and affection of the entire community. We are even more united and stronger so that in 2026 we can step firmly onto the avenue and compete for the championship,” he celebrated.
Despite the setback suffered on the eve of the last parade, Renato Esteves reaffirmed his determination to deliver a spectacular performance, honoring the traditions of the “Little King of Madureira.”
“I move forward with even more passion and determination to showcase my work and dress the members of Império the way they deserve. This will be a year of rising from the ashes and soaring high like a phoenix. Thank you to the entire board for recognizing my work and giving me the opportunity to keep painting my heart and my community in green and white,” the designer added.
Renato Esteves is the first confirmed name for Império Serrano’s Carnival 2026 team. In the coming days, the school will reveal the rest of the team that will compete for the Série Ouro title and the long-awaited return to the Special Group.
