Evento reunirá nove convidados especiais para uma verdadeira festa em homenagem ao orixá, um dos regentes de 2026
São Gonçalo será palco de um encontro potente entre música, espiritualidade, cultura e ancestralidade com a realização do Irmãos de Axé Festival, evento que acontece no próximo domingo, 18 de janeiro, a partir das 14h, no Sambarzin. Mais do que um evento musical, o festival nasce como um espaço de celebração da cultura preta, do legado ancestral africano e da força do axé como elemento de união, resistência e identidade dando início aos festejos em homenagem a Oxossi, um dos orixás regentes de 2026.
Diferentes gerações reunidas com o mesmo pensamento, reafirmar a negritude e festejar a ancestralidade com música e representatividade. No município que é o berço da umbanda, nove artistas subirão ao palco com a proposta de integrar axé, ancestralidade e conexão positiva, criando experiências inesquecíveis para o público.
No lineup , Ekedji Joice, Mika, Joia do Couro, Lary D’Oya, Igor Benatti, Fomod Jagun, Celynho Show, Wagner do Vale e Samba do Senado ditam o ritmo que veio de África e tomou conta do mundo. Cada atração carrega em sua trajetória a conexão com o axé, com a musicalidade afro-brasileira e com expressões que atravessam o sagrado, o cultural e o popular, criando uma experiência que vai além do entretenimento.
O festival é aguardado com grande expectativa por um público que cultiva vínculos profundos com a cultura de terreiro, com o samba, com a espiritualidade e com as manifestações que preservam e difundem a herança africana no Brasil.

Irmãos de Axé Festival Celebrates Oxóssi This Sunday
The event will bring together nine special guests for a true celebration in honor of the orixá, one of the ruling deities of 2026.
São Gonçalo will host a powerful gathering of music, spirituality, culture, and ancestry with the Irmãos de Axé Festival, taking place this Sunday, January 18, starting at 2:00 p.m., at Sambarzin. More than a music event, the festival was created as a space to celebrate Black culture, the African ancestral legacy, and the strength of axé as an element of unity, resistance, and identity, marking the beginning of the celebrations in honor of Oxóssi, one of the orixás who rule 2026.
Different generations will come together with the same purpose: to reaffirm Black identity and celebrate ancestry through music and representation. In the municipality that is considered the birthplace of Umbanda, nine artists will take the stage with the proposal of integrating axé, ancestry, and positive connection, creating unforgettable experiences for the audience.
The lineup includes Ekedji Joice, Mika, Joia do Couro, Lary D’Oya, Igor Benatti, Fomod Jagun, Celynho Show, Wagner do Vale, and Samba do Senado, setting the rhythm that came from Africa and spread across the world. Each act carries in its journey a deep connection with axé, Afro-Brazilian musicality, and expressions that cross the sacred, the cultural, and the popular, creating an experience that goes far beyond entertainment.
The festival is highly anticipated by an audience that nurtures deep ties with terreiro culture, samba, spirituality, and expressions that preserve and promote African heritage in Brazil.
“The Irmãos de Axé Festival was born to be a space of reverence, joy, and the strengthening of Black culture. It is a gathering of brothers and sisters, of stories, sounds, and memories that remain alive through music,” highlights Windson do Sambar, the event’s creator.
