Agremiação apresentou ainda as novidades da próxima temporada
“Lonã Ifá Lukumi” é o título do enredo do Paraíso do Tuiuti para o Carnaval 2026. A agremiação de São Cristóvão, na Zona Norte do Rio, vai levar para a Marquês de Sapucaí a história de uma vertente religiosa afro-cubana que vem sendo redescoberta no Brasil. O tema será desenvolvido pelo carnavalesco Jack Vasconcelos.
A sinopse e a logo do enredo serão divulgadas no próximo mês.
O anúncio foi feito na tarde deste domingo (06) durante evento em comemoração aos 73 anos do Tuiuti. A festa contou ainda com a apresentação do novo primeiro casal de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira da escola, Vinicius Antunes e Rebeca Tito. A dançarina se emocionou no palco.
“Quero agradecer a Deus, ao meu presidente Renato Thor, e minha avó. Foi ela quem me trouxe ao Tuiuti. É para você, vó!”, disse Rebeca.
Outras novidades
Para comandar a comissão de frente, o Tuiuti contratou o experiente coreógrafo David Lima. Ele vai para o 19° carnaval no quesito, tendo sido campeão pela Unidos de Padre Miguel em 2024, além de colecionar diversos prêmios. Neste ano, David fez a coreografia do carro abre-alas da azul e amarelo de São Cristóvão.
Rodrigo Soares e Andrezinho ficarão responsáveis pela Direção de Harmonia. Para a Direção de Carnaval, a agremiação trouxe de volta um “prata da casa”: Leandro Azevedo.

Samba school also presented new features for the upcoming season
“Lonã Ifá Lukumi” is the theme title of Paraíso do Tuiuti for Carnival 2026. The samba school from São Cristóvão, in Rio’s North Zone, will bring to the Marquês de Sapucaí the story of an Afro-Cuban religious tradition that is being rediscovered in Brazil. The theme will be developed by carnival designer Jack Vasconcelos.
The synopsis and logo of the theme will be released next month.
The announcement was made on the afternoon of Sunday (6th) during the event celebrating Tuiuti’s 73rd anniversary. The celebration also featured the presentation of the school’s new lead pair of master of ceremonies and flag bearer, Vinicius Antunes and Rebeca Tito. The dancer was moved on stage.
“I want to thank God, my president Renato Thor, and my grandmother. She was the one who brought me to Tuiuti. This is for you, grandma!” said Rebeca.
Other Updates
To lead the front commission, Tuiuti hired the experienced choreographer David Lima. He is heading into his 19th Carnival in this role, having won the title with Unidos de Padre Miguel in 2024, along with numerous other awards. This year, David was responsible for the choreography of the opening float for the blue-and-yellow school of São Cristóvão.
Rodrigo Soares and Andrezinho will take charge of the Harmony Direction. For the Carnival Direction, the school brought back a “homegrown talent”: Leandro Azevedo.
