Mãe da Rainha de Bateria, Aline Daflor vira destaque de chão da Beija-Flor*

A Beija-Flor de Nilópolis anunciou nesta semana um novo nome para o seu time de destaques de chão e a escolha carrega emoção, memória e pertencimento. Aline Daflor, mãe da Rainha de Bateria Lorena Raíssa, foi convidada pessoalmente pelo presidente Almir Reis para ocupar o posto, em um gesto que reafirma a política da escola de reconhecer sua própria comunidade, especialmente nos lugares de maior visibilidade do desfile.

Filha do compositor Jorge Damu, Aline cresceu dentro da azul e branca. Ainda criança já desfilava pela agremiação, passou pela ala de passistas, foi diretora de ala e construiu sua vida no chão da quadra e do barracão. Foi nesse mesmo espaço que criou seus cinco filhos e onde hoje acompanha o crescimento dos netos, mantendo viva a tradição da família com a escola.

A ligação afetiva atravessa gerações. Lorena Raíssa, atual Rainha de Bateria, nasceu literalmente nos braços da comunidade, em um episódio que se tornou parte da memória coletiva da Beija-Flor.

“Quando a Lorena nasceu, eu tinha acabado de voltar da Marquês de Sapucaí e o meu ônibus foi direto pro hospital. Outros três ônibus vieram atrás em comboio, e ela chegou cercada pela nossa comunidade. A Beija-Flor é tudo na nossa vida. Vivo mais aqui do que em casa. Foi aqui que criei meus filhos e hoje crio meus netos, ensinando o amor ao nosso pavilhão”, relembra Aline.

Para o presidente Almir Reis, a escolha de Aline simboliza a essência da escola e seu compromisso em colocar quem construiu essa história nos lugares de honra.

“Valorizar as pérolas da casa é um princípio da Beija-Flor. Aline é uma dessas joias que sustentam a nossa história no chão da quadra, no barracão e na vida da comunidade. Colocá-la em lugar de destaque é reconhecer quem construiu essa escola com amor, trabalho e pertencimento”, afirma.

Com a novidade, a Beija-Flor reforça sua identidade de escola que transforma histórias reais em protagonismo na Avenida, mantendo viva a força de quem sempre esteve por trás do espetáculo e agora ocupa, também, os espaços de maior visibilidade do desfile.

Mãe da Rainha de Bateria, Aline Daflor becomes a ground highlight at Beija-Flor

Beija-Flor de Nilópolis announced this week a new name joining its team of ground highlights, and the choice carries emotion, memory, and a deep sense of belonging. Aline Daflor, mother of Drum Queen Lorena Raíssa, was personally invited by president Almir Reis to take on the role, in a gesture that reaffirms the school’s policy of recognizing its own community—especially in the most visible positions of the parade.
Daughter of composer Jorge Damu, Aline grew up within the blue-and-white colors of Beija-Flor. Still a child, she already paraded with the school, went on to be part of the passistas wing, served as a section director, and built her life on the ground of the rehearsal court and the samba shed. It was in this same space that she raised her five children and where she now follows the growth of her grandchildren, keeping the family’s tradition with the school alive.
The emotional bond spans generations. Lorena Raíssa, the current Drum Queen, was literally born in the arms of the community, in an episode that became part of Beija-Flor’s collective memory.
“When Lorena was born, I had just returned from Marquês de Sapucaí and my bus went straight to the hospital. Three other buses followed behind in a convoy, and she arrived surrounded by our community. Beija-Flor is everything in our lives. I live here more than at home. It was here that I raised my children and now raise my grandchildren, teaching them love for our flag,” Aline recalls.
For president Almir Reis, Aline’s selection symbolizes the essence of the school and its commitment to placing those who built this history in positions of honor.
“Valuing the pearls of the house is a principle of Beija-Flor. Aline is one of those jewels who sustain our history on the ground of the court, in the samba shed, and in the life of the community. Putting her in a place of prominence is recognizing those who built this school with love, hard work, and a sense of belonging,” he states.
With this new addition, Beija-Flor reinforces its identity as a school that turns real stories into leading roles on the Avenue, keeping alive the strength of those who have always been behind the spectacle and who now also occupy the most visible spaces of the parade.
