​A Estação Primeira de Mangueira iniciou sua temporada de ensaios de rua neste domingo (23/11) com um gesto de carinho e reconhecimento. As musas da agremiação Andressa Verdino, Bruna Menezes, Layza Rebecca, Lua Miranda, Luciana Faustine, Tai Oliver e Thay Barbosa prestaram uma emocionante homenagem à Rainha de Bateria da Verde e Rosa, Evelyn Bastos.

​O grupo replicou o figurino frequentemente utilizado por Evelyn nos ensaios: o estilo “cria do morro”, composto por shortinho jeans e body. Além disso, as musas utilizaram uma faixa, em alusão direta à marca registrada da Rainha. A iniciativa marcou o primeiro encontro da escola na rua para os preparativos do próximo Carnaval.

A homenagem foi idealizada e executada pelo coordenador das musas da Mangueira, Cleiton Marques.

MANGUEIRA’S MUSES PAY EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE TO QUEEN EVELYN BASTOS AT FIRST STREET REHEARSAL

Estação Primeira de Mangueira kicked off its street rehearsal season this Sunday (11/23) with a gesture of affection and recognition. The muses of the school — Andressa Verdino, Bruna Menezes, Layza Rebecca, Lua Miranda, Luciana Faustine, Tai Oliver, and Thay Barbosa — paid an emotional tribute to the Green and Pink’s Drum Queen, Evelyn Bastos.
The group recreated the outfit often worn by Evelyn during rehearsals: the “cria do morro” style, featuring denim shorts and a bodysuit. In addition, the muses wore a sash, directly referencing the Queen’s signature look. This initiative marked the school’s first gathering on the streets as they begin preparations for the next Carnival.
The tribute was conceived and carried out by Mangueira’s muses coordinator, Cleiton Marques.
