O Alma Djem chega nesta quinta-feira (25) com mais uma parceria de peso: a banda gaúcha Chimarruts se junta aos brasilienses na faixa “Maré Cheia”, que abre o EP “PÔR DO SOL”, sexta parte do DVD “Acústico em São Paulo”. A música é um reggae praiano que nasceu em um encontro de compositores na praia de Itaguaré, no litoral norte de São Paulo, e fala sobre o poder do amor como força de resgate e equilíbrio, capaz de devolver paz, serenidade e o rumo certo à vida.
“Maré Cheia” representa não apenas uma influência musical, mas também uma longa amizade entre os integrantes de ambas as bandas. “Desde nossos primeiros shows em Porto Alegre, fomos muito bem recebidos pela rapaziada do Chimarruts. Essa conexão se fortaleceu com o tempo e virou irmandade”, afirma Marcelo Mira.
Sander Fróis, vocalista, guitarrista e compositor da Chimarruts, já recebeu Mira em sua casa no Rio Grande do Sul para encontros de composição e troca de experiências. “A música é ponte, e com eles sempre foi assim: troca verdadeira, de palco e de vida”, reforça o vocalista do Alma Djem.
Com “Maré Cheia”, a parceria ganha registro em estúdio e se traduz em poesia sonora. A união entre Alma Djem e Chimarruts é, acima de tudo, celebração da amizade e do reggae como linguagem de afeto, que conecta histórias, caminhos e corações.

Um ano após a emocionante gravação na capital paulista, o Alma Djem celebra um novo marco em sua trajetória: a estreia do aguardado DVD Acústico em São Paulo, que acaba de chegar com exclusividade ao Globoplay e ao Canal BIS. 
Gravado em julho de 2024, o show reuniu 31 canções em um formato intimista, potente e afetivo — como a banda sempre sonhou —, e contou com participações especiais que marcaram a história do grupo, entre elas Maneva, Vitor Kley, Falamansa, Atitude 67, Roberta Campos, Maskavo, Fábio Brazza, Adão Negro, Macucos e Chimarruts.
“A gente viveu esse acústico com o coração inteiro. Desde a escolha do repertório até o último acorde tocado, tudo foi pensado com muito carinho, respeito e entrega. Agora, poder compartilhar isso com o público do Globoplay e do Canal BIS é a realização de mais um sonho”, diz Mira. “É uma oportunidade única de mostrar a nossa música para novas pessoas e, quem sabe, ganhar novos fãs pelo Brasil afora.”

Alma Djem returns with another major collaboration: the band from Rio Grande do Sul, Chimarruts, joins the Brasília-based group on the track “Maré Cheia”, which opens the EP “PÔR DO SOL”, the sixth chapter of the “Acoustic in São Paulo” DVD. The song is a beach-style reggae born out of a songwriting retreat on Itaguaré Beach, on São Paulo’s northern coast. It speaks of love as a force of rescue and balance, capable of restoring peace, serenity, and a sense of direction to life.
“Maré Cheia” represents not only a musical influence but also a long-standing friendship between the members of both bands. “Since our very first shows in Porto Alegre, we’ve always been warmly welcomed by the Chimarruts crew. Over time, that connection grew stronger and turned into brotherhood,” says Marcelo Mira.
Sander Fróis, vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter of Chimarruts, has even hosted Mira at his home in Rio Grande do Sul for songwriting sessions and exchanges of experiences. “Music is a bridge, and with them it has always been that way: a true exchange, both on stage and in life,” reinforces the Alma Djem frontman.
With “Maré Cheia”, the partnership now takes on a studio recording, translating into musical poetry. The union between Alma Djem and Chimarruts is, above all, a celebration of friendship and reggae as a language of affection, connecting stories, paths, and hearts.
