Mocidade Unida do Santa Marta celebra o Dia da Consciência Negra com programação especial na comunidade
A Mocidade Unida do Santa Marta realizará, no dia 20 de novembro de 2025, uma grande celebração em homenagem ao Dia da Consciência Negra, reunindo manifestações culturais, religiosas e artísticas que valorizam a história, a memória e a resistência do povo negro. O evento integra o calendário do Novembro Negro – Rio, Cidade Antirracista, iniciativa da Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro por meio da Secretaria de Direitos Humanos e Igualdade Racial.
A programação será aberta à comunidade às 08h e contará com a participação de diversos grupos e artistas que dialogam com as raízes africanas presentes no samba, na capoeira, na dança e nas expressões culturais do território. Entre as atrações confirmadas estão: Igreja Santa Marta e Nossa Senhora das Graças, Samba da Bom com Luara Bombom, Egili Oliveira – atriz, pesquisadora de danças negras e preparadora corporal, Bateria Furacão Azul, Bloco Meu, Capoeira Santa Marta, Bloco Pela Saco e o grupo Street Legends, que apresentará uma performance inspirada nas danças dos Orixás.
Um dos momentos mais aguardados será a apresentação oficial do samba-enredo 2026 da Mocidade Unida do Santa Marta, além do show da Quadrilha Explosão Santa Marta e do desfile com os segmentos da escola, reforçando o orgulho e a força da comunidade.

Mocidade Unida do Santa Marta Celebrates Black Consciousness Day with Special Community Programming
On November 20, 2025, Mocidade Unida do Santa Marta will hold a major celebration in honor of Black Consciousness Day, bringing together cultural, religious, and artistic expressions that highlight the history, memory, and resistance of the Black community. The event is part of the Novembro Negro – Rio, Cidade Antirracista calendar, an initiative of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall through the Secretariat for Human Rights and Racial Equality.
The program will open to the community at 8 a.m. and will feature the participation of various groups and artists who honor the African roots present in samba, capoeira, dance, and the local cultural traditions. Confirmed attractions include: Igreja Santa Marta e Nossa Senhora das Graças, Samba da Bom with Luara Bombom, Egili Oliveira – actress, researcher of Black dances, and movement coach, Bateria Furacão Azul, Bloco Meu, Capoeira Santa Marta, Bloco Pela Saco, and the group Street Legends, which will present a performance inspired by the dances of the Orixás.
One of the most anticipated moments will be the official presentation of Mocidade Unida do Santa Marta’s 2026 samba-enredo, along with a show by the Quadrilha Explosão Santa Marta and a parade featuring the school’s segments, reinforcing the pride and strength of the community.
