Mobilização nacional reforça a proteção de crianças e adolescentes e intensifica ações contra todas as formas de violência

A Secretaria de Estado de Segurança Pública do Rio de Janeiro, está coordenando as ações do Dia D da Operação Caminhos Seguros, voltada à proteção de crianças e adolescentes e ao combate à exploração sexual infanto-juvenil. A iniciativa do Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública (MJSP) ocorre simultaneamente em todo o país e integra uma mobilização nacional ao longo do mês de maio.

Desde as primeiras horas da manhã, equipes da Polícia Civil estão nas ruas cumprindo mandados de prisão e de busca e apreensão em diversas regiões do estado. A ação visa desarticular redes criminosas e garantir a proteção integral dos direitos de crianças e adolescentes.

Paralelamente, a Polícia Militar, por meio da Patrulha Escolar, está realizando ações educativas e preventivas em escolas das redes estadual e municipal, com o objetivo de conscientizar a comunidade escolar sobre os riscos e formas de prevenção à violência sexual contra menores.

A Operação Caminhos Seguros é uma estratégia integrada entre União, estados e municípios. A Secretaria de Segurança Pública destaca a importância da denúncia como ferramenta essencial no enfrentamento à violência. Casos suspeitos podem ser comunicados ao Disque 100 ou às delegacias especializadas.

National mobilization reinforces the protection of children and adolescents and intensifies actions against all forms of violence
The State Secretariat of Public Security of Rio de Janeiro is coordinating the actions of the D-Day of Operation Caminhos Seguros (“Safe Paths”), focused on the protection of children and adolescents and the fight against the sexual exploitation of minors. The initiative, led by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), is taking place simultaneously across the country and is part of a nationwide mobilization throughout the month of May.
Since the early hours of the morning, Civil Police teams have been on the streets executing arrest and search and seizure warrants in various regions of the state. The operation aims to dismantle criminal networks and ensure the full protection of the rights of children and adolescents.
At the same time, the Military Police, through the School Patrol program, is carrying out educational and preventive actions in state and municipal schools. The goal is to raise awareness within the school community about the risks and prevention methods related to sexual violence against minors.
Operation Caminhos Seguros is an integrated strategy among the federal, state, and municipal governments. The Public Security Secretariat highlights the importance of reporting as an essential tool in the fight against violence. Suspected cases can be reported via the Disque 100 hotline or to specialized police stations.
