A escola de samba Império de Nova Iguaçu celebra, no próximo domingo, 21 de dezembro, os 5 anos do Tigre com um grande evento cultural que terá como principal destaque a presença de Neguinho da Beija-Flor, um dos maiores ícones do samba e da história do carnaval brasileiro. A festa acontece das 13h às 18h, na Arena Portuga localizada na Rua Coronel Francisco Soares, 1345, em Nova Iguaçu, com entrada gratuita.
Reconhecido internacionalmente por sua trajetória vitoriosa na Marquês de Sapucaí, Neguinho da Beija-Flor promete emocionar o público e coroar a comemoração da escola, que em apenas cinco anos construiu uma trajetória marcada por crescimento, identidade e forte ligação com a comunidade da Baixada Fluminense.
A programação inclui ainda o show das passistas e da bateria do Império de Nova Iguaçu, elementos que traduzem a força e a personalidade da agremiação, além do pagode do grupo Dos Ritmistas, garantindo uma tarde de muita música, alegria e celebração.

The Império de Nova Iguaçu samba school will celebrate the Tiger’s 5th anniversary next Sunday, December 21, with a major cultural event whose main highlight will be the presence of Neguinho da Beija-Flor, one of the greatest icons of samba and of Brazilian Carnival history.
The celebration will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Arena Portuga, located at Rua Coronel Francisco Soares, 1345, in Nova Iguaçu, with free admission.
Internationally recognized for his victorious career at the Marquês de Sapucaí, Neguinho da Beija-Flor promises to thrill the audience and crown the school’s celebration, which in just five years has built a trajectory marked by growth, strong identity, and a deep connection with the Baixada Fluminense community.
The program also includes performances by the Império de Nova Iguaçu passistas and its drum section, elements that embody the strength and personality of the samba school, as well as a pagode show by the group Dos Ritmistas, ensuring an afternoon filled with music, joy, and celebration.
