NELTUR OPENS REGISTRATION FOR THE SELECTION OF THE MOMESC COURT OF NITERÓI CARNIVAL 2026
NELTUR ABRIRÁ INSCRIÇÕES PARA ESCOLHA DA CORTE MOMESCA DO CARNAVAL NITERÓI 2026
A Neltur – Niterói Empresa de Lazer e Turismo-, abrirá as inscrições para eleição do Rei Momo, Rainha e Princesa do Carnaval Niterói 2026, do dia 22 de Setembro (segunda-feira) até o dia 24 de Outubro(sexta-feira) deste ano. Os candidatos e as candidatas deverão ser indicados e inscritos por uma agremiação carnavalesca da cidade.
A Eleição da Corte Momesca do Carnaval Niterói 2026 será no dia 8 de Novembro de 2025 (sábado), em local ainda a ser definido.
O Regulamento da Eleição à Corte Momesca do Carnaval Niterói 2026 e a ficha de inscrição deverão ser retirados, presencialmente, na sede da Neltur – Estrada Leopoldo Fróes 773, São Francisco -, no Depto de Lazer, de 2ª a 6ª feira, entre 10h e 16h.
Eleitos, o Rei Momo e a Rainha receberão R$ 20.000,00 (Vinte mil reais) cada um, e a Princesa eleita receberá R$ 10.000,00 (Dez mil reais). Já a escola, que tenha indicado o candidato a Rei Momo e a candidata à Rainha, vencedores, receberá o valor de R$ 10.000,00 (Dez mil reais).
As candidatas à Rainha do Carnaval Niterói 2026 serão julgadas nos quesitos Samba no Pé, Simpatia, Elegância e Estética Corporal e os candidatos a Rei Momo serão julgados nos quesitos Samba no Pé, Simpatia e Elegância. Aquela candidata que receber a maior pontuação, após o julgamento, será a Rainha e, a segunda colocada em pontuação será a Princesa.

NELTUR OPENS REGISTRATION FOR THE SELECTION OF THE MOMESC COURT OF NITERÓI CARNIVAL 2026
Neltur – Niterói Leisure and Tourism Company – will open registration for the election of the King Momo, Queen, and Princess of the Niterói Carnival 2026, from September 22 (Monday) to October 24 (Friday), 2025. Candidates must be nominated and registered by a carnival association of the city.
The Election of the Momesque Court of the Niterói Carnival 2026 will take place on November 8, 2025 (Saturday), at a location yet to be defined.
The regulations of the Election for the Momesque Court of the Niterói Carnival 2026 and the registration form must be collected in person at the Neltur headquarters – Estrada Leopoldo Fróes 773, São Francisco – at the Leisure Department, from Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The elected King Momo and Queen will each receive R$ 20,000.00 (twenty thousand reais), and the elected Princess will receive R$ 10,000.00 (ten thousand reais). The samba school that nominated the winning King Momo and Queen candidates will also receive R$ 10,000.00 (ten thousand reais).
Candidates for Queen of the Niterói Carnival 2026 will be judged on the following criteria: Samba no Pé (samba dancing skills), Charisma, Elegance, and Body Aesthetics. Candidates for King Momo will be judged on Samba no Pé, Charisma, and Elegance. The candidate with the highest score will be crowned Queen, and the runner-up will become Princess.
