Nutrição e terapia alimentar passam a ser incluídas na Política Estadual de Proteção dos Direitos da Pessoa com TEA
Governador Cláudio Castro sancionou lei que amplia garantias voltadas ao público
O governador Cláudio Castro atualizou a Política Estadual de Proteção dos Direitos da Pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) para ampliar garantias voltadas a esse público. Cláudio Castro sancionou a Lei 11.019/2025, que inclui no programa medidas sobre nutrição adequada e terapia alimentar e nutricional. A norma foi publicada nesta segunda-feira no Diário Oficial.
— Diversas iniciativas fazem parte da nossa gestão para garantir mais qualidade de vida e direitos a pessoas com Transtorno do Espectro Autista. Essa nova lei reconhece que a nutrição adequada e a terapia nutricional são essenciais para o desenvolvimento e o bem-estar das pessoas com TEA – declarou o governador.
De acordo com o texto, a nutrição e a terapia alimentar deverão ser garantidas como direito da pessoa com TEA, realizadas por profissional de saúde legalmente habilitado e seguindo protocolos clínicos e diretrizes terapêuticas previstas na legislação.
Criada pela Lei 9.395 em 2021, a Política Estadual de Proteção dos Direitos da Pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista tem, entre seus objetivos, a intersetorialidade no desenvolvimento das ações e das políticas no atendimento às pessoas com TEA; a participação da comunidade na formulação de políticas públicas voltadas a esse público; o incentivo à capacitação de profissionais especializados no atendimento à pessoa com TEA, pais e responsáveis, além de outros.

Governor Cláudio Castro signs law expanding guarantees for this population
Governor Cláudio Castro has updated the State Policy for the Protection of the Rights of People with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to broaden the guarantees offered to this group. He sanctioned Law No. 11,019/2025, which adds measures related to proper nutrition and nutritional and feeding therapy to the program. The regulation was published this Monday in the Official Gazette.
— Our administration has implemented several initiatives to ensure better quality of life and rights for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This new law recognizes that proper nutrition and nutritional therapy are essential for the development and well-being of individuals with ASD, said the governor.
According to the law, nutrition and feeding therapy must be guaranteed as a right of people with ASD, carried out by legally qualified health professionals, and in accordance with the clinical protocols and therapeutic guidelines established by legislation.
Created by Law No. 9,395 in 2021, the State Policy for the Protection of the Rights of People with Autism Spectrum Disorder aims to promote intersectoral coordination in developing actions and policies for the care of individuals with ASD; ensure community participation in the creation of public policies focused on this population; and encourage the training of professionals specialized in caring for people with ASD, as well as parents, guardians, and others.
