Escola homenageará Xande de Pilares no retorno à Marquês de Sapucaí

A Unidos do Jacarezinho escolheu na madrugada deste sábado o seu hino oficial para o Carnaval 2026. No concurso que começou com 8 sambas inscritos, venceu a parceria de Paulinho Bandolim, Tomate Show, Rodrigo Jacopetti, Bruno Dallari, Godoi, Guto Cachaça, Dodô Ananias e Rafa Cria. O samba escolhido servirá de trilha sonora para o enredo “O ar que se respira agora inspira novos tempos” e abordará a história do cantor, compositor e ator, Xande de Pilares.

A disputa foi bastante acirrada, afinal de contas, foram quatro obras finalistas com compositores consagrados da escola e do carnaval. Antes da disputa, um show inédito da rosa e branca foi preparado exclusivamente para a ocasião. A festa contou com a presença do homenageado e terminou ao amanhecer com o anúncio do samba campeão.

A Unidos do Jacarezinho será a primeira escola a pisar na Avenida na sexta-feira de carnaval, dia 13 de fevereiro de 2026. Confira a letra do samba vencedor.

“Pilares” of This Root! Paulinho Bandolim’s Partnership Wins at Unidos do Jacarezinho

The school will honor Xande de Pilares in its return to Marquês de Sapucaí
Unidos do Jacarezinho chose, in the early hours of this Saturday, its official anthem for Carnival 2026. In a contest that began with 8 samba entries, the winning composition was by the partnership of Paulinho Bandolim, Tomate Show, Rodrigo Jacopetti, Bruno Dallari, Godoi, Guto Cachaça, Dodô Ananias and Rafa Cria. The chosen samba will serve as the soundtrack for the theme “The air we breathe now inspires new times”, which will tell the story of singer, composer, and actor Xande de Pilares.
It was a fierce competition, with four finalist works written by renowned composers of the school and the samba world. Before the final showdown, a special, unprecedented show by the pink and white school was prepared exclusively for the occasion. The celebration featured the presence of the honoree himself and ended at dawn with the announcement of the winning samba.
Unidos do Jacarezinho will be the first school to parade down the Avenue on Carnival Friday, February 13, 2026. Check out the lyrics of the winning samba below.
