SERENO DE CAMPO GRANDE FESTEJA 29º ANIVERSÁRIO COM ENSAIO NA QUADRA
Neste domingo, dia 16 de fevereiro, a quadra do Sereno de Campo Grande, localizada na Rua Campo Grande nº 8, será palco de mais um ensaio de canto rumo ao Carnaval 2025. Na ocasião, a azul e branco da Zona Oeste vai celebrar seus 29 anos de fundação com direito a bolo e reunirá sambistas, comunidade e desfilantes para uma tarde/noite de muita alegria e samba no pé.
A campeã dos carnavais de 2002 e 2023, abrirá o evento, a partir das 15h, com a roda de samba do Grupo Samba Vip. Em seguida, os intérpretes oficiais Antonio Carlos do Sereno e Márcio Preza irão dar início ao ensaio de canto e prometem embalar os presentes com sambas antológicos da agremiação e o hino que será levado para a Avenida neste ano, acompanhados pelos ritmistas da Swing da Coruja, sob a batuta de Mestre Brício. Presença confirmada da rainha de bateria Katarina Harmony, Velha-Guarda, baianas, passistas, destaques, musas, casais de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira e demais segmentos.
“Vamos invadir a Intendente com mais de 700 corações pulsando no mesmo ritmo da bateria. As fantasias já estão 90% prontas, faltando menos de 20 dias para o desfile e no mesmo nível da inesquecível conquista de 2023. Com todo respeito às 29 coirmãs, mas o Sereno estará entre as escolas que brigam pelo título da Série Prata. Abriremos as apresentações elevando o sarrafo a um nível inacreditável”, declarou o presidente Carlos Alberto (Galego)”.
Inscrições nas Alas de Comunidade

“Será um domingo festivo mas não deixaremos de focar no principal objetivo que é o ensaio de canto. É obrigatório a presença de todos os componentes. Vamos com muito empenho acertar os últimos detalhes com relação a harmonia e evolução. Em breve, divulgaremos o calendário de entrega das fantasias. O Sereno vem forte mais uma vez em busca do sonho de voltar a pisar na Sapucaí”, comentou Cristiano Amorim, Diretor Geral de Harmonia.
A Coruja da Zona Oeste será a primeira a desfilar pela Série Prata com organização da SUPERLIGA no domingo de carnaval, dia 2 de março. O enredo “No sertão, se onde tem Sereno, têm corujas, onde existem profetas… têm chuvas!!!”, de autoria do carnavalesco Marcello Portella vai abordar a importância dos Profetas da Chuva, homens e mulheres do interior nordestino, que com suas previsões meteorológicas, orientam agricultores e pecuaristas do melhor momento para o plantio e o cuidado com os animais.

SERENO DE CAMPO GRANDE CELEBRATES 29TH ANNIVERSARY WITH REHEARSAL AT THE QUADRA
This Sunday, February 16, the quadra of Sereno de Campo Grande, located at Rua Campo Grande nº 8, will host another singing rehearsal in preparation for Carnaval 2025. On this occasion, the blue and white school from the West Zone will celebrate its 29th anniversary with cake and will bring together samba enthusiasts, the local community, and parade participants for an afternoon and evening full of joy and samba.
The champion of the 2002 and 2023 carnivals will kick off the event at 3 PM with a samba circle featuring Grupo Samba Vip. Then, official singers Antonio Carlos do Sereno and Márcio Preza will lead the singing rehearsal, promising to delight attendees with classic sambas from the school’s history, as well as this year’s anthem, accompanied by the drummers of Swing da Coruja under the leadership of Mestre Brício. The event will also feature the confirmed presence of drum queen Katarina Harmony, the Velha-Guarda, baianas, passistas, highlights, muses, mestre-sala and porta-bandeira couples, and other segments.
“We will take over Intendente with more than 700 hearts beating to the rhythm of our bateria. The costumes are already 90% ready, with less than 20 days until the parade, and they are at the same level as our unforgettable victory in 2023. With all due respect to the 29 fellow schools, Sereno will be among those competing for the Série Prata title. We will open the performances by setting the bar at an unbelievable level,” stated President Carlos Alberto (Galego).
Community Wing Registration
There are only a few spots left in the community wings. Those who wish to parade with the school should arrive early at the quadra on rehearsal days, choose their costume, and complete their registration. “It will be a festive Sunday, but we will not lose focus on our main goal, which is the singing rehearsal. Attendance is mandatory for all members. We will put in a lot of effort to fine-tune the final details regarding harmony and performance. Soon, we will release the schedule for costume distribution. Sereno is coming strong once again, chasing the dream of returning to Sapucaí,” commented Cristiano Amorim, General Director of Harmony.
The Coruja of the West Zone will be the first to parade in the Série Prata, organized by SUPERLIGA, on Carnival Sunday, March 2. The theme, “In the Sertão, where there is Sereno, there are owls; where there are prophets… there is rain!!!”, created by carnavalesco Marcello Portella, will highlight the importance of the Rain Prophets—men and women from Brazil’s northeastern countryside who, through their meteorological predictions, guide farmers and ranchers on the best times for planting and livestock care.
