Heitorzinho se emociona ao saber que será homenageado pela escola mirim Herdeiros da Vila
Nesta segunda-feira (5), filhos e netos do multiartista Heitor dos Prazeres visitaram o barracão da Unidos de Vila Isabel para acompanhar de perto os preparativos do desfile que levará a obra e a trajetória do artista como enredo no Carnaval. A presença da família aproximando ainda mais a escola da história que será contada na Avenida.
Para o carnavalesco Gabriel Haddad, o encontro reforça o compromisso com a memória e a verdade do enredo. “Ter a família do Heitor dos Prazeres aqui é fundamental. É quando a pesquisa deixa o papel e ganha corpo. Ver as histórias que eles compartilharam se transformando em fantasias e alegorias nos dá a certeza de que estamos no caminho certo. É como se o Heitor estivesse presente no nosso dia a dia de trabalho.”
Emocionado, Heitor Filho, filho do artista, destacou o cuidado da escola ao transformar a vida e a obra do pai em espetáculo. “O coração está muito feliz. É emocionante ver tudo sendo feito com tanto respeito e beleza. Essa homenagem ao meu pai é grandiosa, e esperamos estar à altura dela na Avenida. Tenho certeza de que será um desfile marcante.”
Durante a visita, a família também foi surpreendida com um anúncio especial: Heitorzinho será homenageado pela Herdeiros da Vila, escola mirim da Unidos de Vila Isabel, no Carnaval de 2026. O projeto foi apresentado pelo presidente da agremiação, Philipe Duarte, com o enredo
“Sonhos e tambores, tintas e prazeres da Herdeiros para o herdeiro”.
Visivelmente emocionado, Heitorzinho reagiu à homenagem: “Foi uma surpresa imensa, daquelas que a gente ainda está tentando absorver. Não esperava por isso. Ser homenageado pelos Herdeiros da Vila é uma emoção enorme e uma honra. Vamos desfilar com orgulho e fazer jus a essa história.”
A azul e branca entra na Avenida no dia 17 de fevereiro com o enredo “Macumbembê, Samborembá: Sonhei que um sambista sonhou a África”, desenvolvido pelos carnavalescos Gabriel Haddad e Leonardo Bora, com pesquisa de Vinicius Natal. O tema presta um tributo a memória de Heitor dos Prazeres, um dos grandes ícones da cultura popular brasileira.
Já a Herdeiros da Vila, escola mirim da Unidos de Vila Isabel, será a segunda a desfilar no dia 20 de fevereiro, levando para a Avenida o enredo “Sonhos e tambores, tintas e prazeres da Herdeiros para o herdeiro”, em uma homenagem especial a Heitorzinho, reforçando o legado e a continuidade da história que atravessa gerações.

Heitorzinho is moved upon learning he will be honored by the children’s school Herdeiros da Vila
This Monday (5), the sons and grandchildren of multi-artist Heitor dos Prazeres visited the workshop of Unidos de Vila Isabel to closely follow the preparations for the parade that will bring the artist’s work and life story to the Avenue as this year’s theme. The family’s presence brought the school even closer to the history that will be told on the Sambadrome.
For carnival designer Gabriel Haddad, the meeting reinforces the commitment to the memory and truth of the storyline. “Having Heitor dos Prazeres’ family here is essential. It’s when research leaves the paper and takes shape. Seeing the stories they shared being transformed into costumes and floats gives us the certainty that we are on the right path. It’s as if Heitor were present in our daily work routine.”
Visibly moved, Heitor Filho, the artist’s son, highlighted the care taken by the school in turning his father’s life and work into a spectacle. “My heart is very happy. It’s emotional to see everything being done with so much respect and beauty. This tribute to my father is grand, and we hope to live up to it on the Avenue. I’m sure it will be a memorable parade.”
During the visit, the family was also surprised with a special announcement: Heitorzinho will be honored by Herdeiros da Vila, the children’s samba school of Unidos de Vila Isabel, at Carnival 2026. The project was presented by the school’s president, Philipe Duarte, with the theme “Dreams and drums, paints and pleasures: from the Herdeiros to the heir.” Deeply emotional, Heitorzinho reacted to the tribute: “It was an immense surprise, one that we’re still trying to absorb. I wasn’t expecting it. Being honored by Herdeiros da Vila is an enormous emotion and a great honor. We will parade with pride and do justice to this story.”
The blue-and-white school will take to the Avenue on February 17 with the theme “Macumbembê, Samborembá: I dreamed that a sambista dreamed of Africa,” developed by carnival designers Gabriel Haddad and Leonardo Bora, with research by Vinicius Natal. The theme pays tribute to the memory of Heitor dos Prazeres, one of the great icons of Brazilian popular culture.
Herdeiros da Vila, the children’s school of Unidos de Vila Isabel, will be the second to parade on February 20, bringing to the Avenue the theme “Dreams and drums, paints and pleasures: from the Herdeiros to the heir,” in a special tribute to Heitorzinho, reinforcing the legacy and continuity of a story that spans generations.
