A produtora Luciana Moisakis, em parceria com a curadoria de PC JAZZ, convida você para a estreia do projeto SOUL JAZZ NIGHTS — uma série de encontros musicais que exaltam a elegância, a liberdade e a alma do jazz contemporâneo. A estreia acontece em grande estilo no icônico Jo&Joe, no Largo do Boticário, no Cosme Velho, com um show intimista e arrebatador da cantora, compositora e arranjadora Alma Thomas no dia 15 de junho, domingo, às 17h.

Nascida em Nova York e radicada no Rio de Janeiro desde 2004, Alma se consolidou como uma das vozes mais expressivas da cena musical brasileira. Sua trajetória inclui parcerias com nomes como Gilson Peranzzetta, Celso Fonseca, Ed Motta, Ellen Oléria, Alceu Valença, Ana Carolina, Roberto Menescal, Daniel, Baco Exu do Blues, entre outros. Suas composições já embalaram trilhas de filmes como Se Eu Fosse Você, De Pernas Pro Ar e novelas da Rede Globo como Passione e Pega Pega.

Com mais de 12 milhões de streams no Spotify, Alma foi semifinalista da primeira edição do The Voice Brasil (2012) e vencedora da segunda temporada do The Four Brasil (2020), eleita com mais de 50% dos votos do público. Em 2024, lançou seu quinto álbum autoral, Cidade Natal, e foi jurada durante cinco temporadas dos programas Canta Comigo (adulto e teen) na Record TV. Atualmente, viaja o país com o Alma Thomas Group e integra a banda de Baco Exu do Blues.

Para o show de estreia do Soul Jazz Nights, Alma será acompanhada por Pedro Milman no teclado e Dave Zinno no contrabaixo acústico. No repertório, pérolas como Summertime, Georgia on My Mind e (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, além de surpresas e arranjos que prometem emocionar e encantar.

One of the most expressive voices in Brazil’s music scene, Alma performs on Sunday, June 15, at 5 PM

Producer Luciana Moisakis, in collaboration with curator PC JAZZ, invites you to the premiere of SOUL JAZZ NIGHTS—a series of musical gatherings that celebrate the elegance, freedom, and soul of contemporary jazz. The debut takes place in style at the iconic Jo&Joe, located in Largo do Boticário, Cosme Velho, with an intimate and captivating concert by singer, songwriter, and arranger Alma Thomas on Sunday, June 15 at 5 PM.

Born in New York and based in Rio de Janeiro since 2004, Alma Thomas has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in the Brazilian music scene. Her career includes collaborations with artists such as Gilson Peranzzetta, Celso Fonseca, Ed Motta, Ellen Oléria, Alceu Valença, Ana Carolina, Roberto Menescal, Daniel, and Baco Exu do Blues. Her songs have been featured in films like If I Were You and De Pernas Pro Ar, as well as in Globo TV soap operas like Passione and Pega Pega.

With over 12 million streams on Spotify, Alma was a semifinalist on the first season of The Voice Brasil (2012) and won the second season of The Four Brasil (2020) with more than 50% of the public vote. In 2024, she released her fifth original album Cidade Natal and served as a judge for five seasons of Canta Comigo (adult and teen editions) on Record TV. She currently tours Brazil with the Alma Thomas Group and is also part of Baco Exu do Blues’ band.

For the Soul Jazz Nights debut concert, Alma will be joined by Pedro Milman on keyboard and Dave Zinno on acoustic bass. The setlist will include classics like Summertime, Georgia on My Mind, and (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, along with surprises and arrangements that promise to move and enchant the audience.
