Thaty Salgado é a nova Diretora da ala de passistas da Novo Império

A Novo Império reforçou sua equipe do carnaval de 2026 e anunciou a chegada de Thaty Salgado como nova diretora da ala de passistas. A profissional é um dos nomes que chegam para impulsionar ainda mais o trabalho da agremiação, que desfilará pela Série Bronze, na Intendente Magalhães.

– Sou de família carnavalesca, então o samba sempre esteve em minha vida. Meu pai foi ritmista, minha mãe foi dona de ateliê e sou sobrinha de André e Nayra Cezari, diretores do Cacique de Ramos. Desfilei como passista, musa e destaque em várias agremiações – revelou Thaty.

Para o carnaval de 2019, Thaty assumiu a ala de passistas da Botafogo Samba Clube e ficou para os desfiles de 2019, 2020 e 2022, sendo premiada como melhor ala de passistas da série prata, pelo Prêmio Samba na Veia, em 2020 e 2022. Em 2023 assumiu a ala de Passistas Lobo Forte, na Independentes de Olaria e no desfile de 2024 foi finalista do Prêmio Machine.

Thaty Salgado is the New Director of the Passistas Wing at Novo Império
Novo Império has strengthened its team for Carnival 2026 by announcing Thaty Salgado as the new director of the passistas wing. Thaty is one of the new additions brought in to further boost the work of the school, which will parade in the Bronze Series at Intendente Magalhães.
“I come from a carnival family, so samba has always been a part of my life. My father was a percussionist, my mother owned an atelier, and I am the niece of André and Nayra Cezari, directors at Cacique de Ramos. I paraded as a passista, muse, and highlight in several samba schools,” revealed Thaty.
For Carnival 2019, Thaty took over the passistas wing at Botafogo Samba Clube, where she remained for the 2019, 2020, and 2022 parades. During this time, she won awards for Best Passistas Wing in the Silver Series at the Samba na Veia Awards in both 2020 and 2022.
In 2023, she became the director of the Lobo Forte Passistas Wing at Independentes de Olaria, and in the 2024 parade, she was a finalist for the Prêmio Machine.
