O anúncio da vitória foi recebido com lágrimas, abraços apertados e um coro uníssono de alegria vindo do coração de Madureira.
Com uma campanha pautada pelo respeito à tradição, amor à escola e compromisso com a renovação, Junior Escafura conquistou os corações dos portelenses. Mais do que uma eleição, o momento simbolizou a união de uma comunidade apaixonada por sua escola, que acredita no poder da cultura e da força do samba para transformar realidades.
“Essa vitória não é só minha, é de toda a família portelense. É o grito da nossa águia, que nunca deixou de voar alto, mesmo diante das dificuldades”, declarou Junior, visivelmente emocionado, logo após o resultado.

On a night filled with emotion and hope, the Portela family wrote another chapter in its glorious history: Junior Escafura was elected the new president of GRES Portela. The announcement of his victory was met with tears, tight embraces, and a unison chorus of joy from the heart of Madureira.
With a campaign grounded in respect for tradition, love for the school, and a commitment to renewal, Junior Escafura won the hearts of Portela’s members. More than just an election, the moment symbolized the unity of a community deeply passionate about its samba school—believing in the power of culture and the strength of samba to transform realities.
“This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to the entire Portela family. It is the cry of our eagle, which has never stopped soaring high, even in the face of hardship,” said Junior, visibly moved, shortly after the results were announced.
