A Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel vive um momento de reestruturação a menos de um mês do Carnaval.
De acordo com informações publicadas pelo jornal O Globo, a escola passa a ter uma nova condução administrativa com a chegada de Gustavo Andrade à gestão da agremiação.
Filho do patrono Rogério Andrade — que está preso desde 2024 —, Gustavo assume o comando em meio a pressões internas da cúpula do jogo do bicho, que cobrava uma atuação mais efetiva e representativa da escola junto à Liga Independente das Escolas de Samba (Liesa). A mudança ocorre em um período decisivo da preparação para o desfile, quando ajustes administrativos e políticos ganham peso equivalente ao trabalho artístico na Marquês de Sapucaí.
A expectativa é que a nova gestão fortaleça o diálogo institucional da verde e branca e contribua para maior estabilidade nos bastidores, às vésperas do maior espetáculo da Terra.

Carnival. According to information published by the newspaper O Globo, the samba school is entering a new phase of administrative leadership with the arrival of Gustavo Andrade to its management. The son of patron Rogério Andrade—who has been imprisoned since 2024—Gustavo takes over amid internal pressure from the upper ranks of the jogo do bicho, who were demanding a more effective and representative role for the school within the Independent League of Samba Schools (Liesa).
The change comes at a decisive moment in the preparations for the parade, when administrative and political adjustments carry as much weight as the artistic work on the Marquês de Sapucaí. Expectations are that the new leadership will strengthen the green-and-white school’s institutional dialogue and contribute to greater backstage stability on the eve of the Greatest Show on Earth.
