Parceria de Thiago Vaz vence a disputa na Unidos de Padre Miguel para o Carnaval 2026
A Unidos de Padre Miguel viveu uma noite inesquecível neste sábado, 13 de setembro, ao realizar a grande final do concurso que definiu o samba-enredo para o Carnaval 2026. A vermelho e branco da Vila Vintém levará para a Marquês de Sapucaí o enredo “Kunhã eté – O sopro sagrado da Jurema”, desenvolvido pelo carnavalesco Lucas Milato, em homenagem à guerreira indígena Clara Camarão, símbolo de coragem, liderança e resistência feminina no Brasil colonial.
O grande campeão foi o Samba 13, da parceria de Thiago Vaz, Jefinho Rodrigues, W. Correa, Richard Valença, Miguel Dibo e Cabeça do Ajax. A obra conquistou a comunidade e emocionou a quadra lotada, tornando-se o hino que embalará o desfile da escola em busca do título da Série Ouro e do retorno ao Grupo Especial.
A festa começou às 22h com os shows de Felipe Santos, Grupo PegaBlack e Lelê Carlos. Em seguida, os segmentos da UPM se apresentaram em um espetáculo grandioso: baianas, passistas e casais de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira brilharam ao som do intérprete oficial Bruno Ribas, acompanhado pela bateria Guerreiros da Unidos, sob o comando de Mestre Laion. Uma atração especial da direção artística completou a noite antes do início da disputa.
“Foi uma final emocionante, digna da grandeza da nossa escola. O Samba 13 traduz perfeitamente a força do nosso enredo e a garra da Vila Vintém”, destacou a presidente Lara Mara.

Thiago Vaz’s Partnership Wins the Samba Contest at Unidos de Padre Miguel for Carnival 2026
Unidos de Padre Miguel experienced an unforgettable night this Saturday, September 13, as it held the grand final of the contest that chose the samba-enredo for Carnival 2026. The red and white school from Vila Vintém will bring to the Marquês de Sapucaí the theme “Kunhã eté – The Sacred Breath of Jurema”, developed by carnival designer Lucas Milato, in honor of the Indigenous warrior Clara Camarão, a symbol of courage, leadership, and female resistance in colonial Brazil.
The big winner was Samba 13, created by the partnership of Thiago Vaz, Jefinho Rodrigues, W. Correa, Richard Valença, Miguel Dibo, and Cabeça do Ajax. The work won over the community and thrilled the packed samba hall, becoming the anthem that will carry the school in its quest for the Série Ouro title and a return to the Special Group.
The celebration began at 10 p.m. with performances by Felipe Santos, Grupo PegaBlack, and Lelê Carlos. Then, Unidos de Padre Miguel’s segments took the stage in a grand spectacle: baianas, passistas, and master of ceremonies and flag bearer couples shone to the voice of official interpreter Bruno Ribas, accompanied by the “Guerreiros da Unidos” drum section under the command of Mestre Laion. A special artistic performance added to the night before the start of the final contest.
“It was an emotional final, worthy of our school’s greatness. Samba 13 perfectly captures the strength of our theme and the spirit of Vila Vintém,” said president Lara Mara.
