Tuiuti Hosts Feijoada and Presents New Couples This Sunday (15th)

This Sunday, June 15th, starting at 1 p.m., the samba school’s headquarters in São Cristóvão, in Rio’s North Zone, will host a traditional feijoada with a samba-enredo performance. In addition, there will be a show featuring all sectors of the blue and yellow school and the presentation of the new second and third pairs of master of ceremonies and flag bearers. Tickets cost R$ 30. The feijoada will be available for R$ 20.

At the next Carnival, Tuiuti will be the first school to parade on Carnival Tuesday with the theme “Lonã Ifá Lukumi”, which explores an Afro-Cuban religious tradition that is being rediscovered in Brazil. The theme will be developed by carnival designer Jack Vasconcelos.

Tuiuti realiza feijoada e apresenta novos casais neste domingo (15)

Neste domingo,15, a partir das 13h, a sede da agremiação em São Cristóvão, na Zona Norte do Rio, recebe uma tradicional feijoada com roda de samba-enredo. Além disso, haverá show com todos os segmentos da azul e amarelo e apresentação do novo segundo e terceiro casal de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira. Os ingressos custam R$ 30. A feijoada custará R$ 20.

No próximo Carnaval, o Tuiuti será a primeira escola a desfilar na terça-feira de carnaval com enredo “Lonã Ifá Lukumi”, sobre uma vertente religiosa afro-cubana que vem sendo redescoberta no Brasil. O tema será desenvolvido pelo carnavalesco Jack Vasconcelos.
