Intérprete grava versão da escola após pequenos ajustes rumo ao desfile oficial
A União de Maricá divulgou nesta sexta-feira (10) a versão final do seu samba-enredo para o Carnaval 2026, interpretada por Zé Paulo Sierra. Com o enredo “Berenguendéns e Balangandãns”, assinado pelo carnavalesco Leandro Vieira, a escola busca o título da Série Ouro e o tão sonhado acesso ao Grupo Especial, exaltando a joalheria preta do Brasil e sua principal peça: o balangandã.
A obra tem as assinaturas dos compositores Babby do Cavaco, Rafael Gigante, Marcelo Adnet, Hélio Porto, Jefferson Oliveira e André do Posto 7.

Visando o desfile oficial, a União de Maricá dará o pontapé inicial à temporada de ensaios neste sábado (11), durante a sua feijoada. O evento vai marcar o primeiro contato da comunidade com o samba do próximo carnaval, sob a liderança de Zé Paulo Sierra. Em 2026, a escola desfilará como a sexta escola de sábado, 14 de fevereiro, na Marquês de Sapucaí, pela Série Ouro.

Lead singer records school’s official version after final adjustments for the parade
União de Maricá released this Friday (10) the final version of its samba-enredo for Carnival 2026, performed by Zé Paulo Sierra. With the theme “Berenguendéns e Balangandãns”, created by carnival designer Leandro Vieira, the school aims for the Série Ouro (Gold Series) title and the long-awaited promotion to the Special Group, celebrating Black Brazilian jewelry and its most iconic symbol: the balangandã.
The samba was composed by Babby do Cavaco, Rafael Gigante, Marcelo Adnet, Hélio Porto, Jefferson Oliveira, and André do Posto 7.

With Carnival preparations underway, União de Maricá will kick off its rehearsal season this Saturday (11) during its traditional feijoada event. The occasion will mark the community’s first contact with the samba for next year’s parade, led by singer Zé Paulo Sierra. In 2026, the school will be the sixth to parade on Saturday, February 14, at Marquês de Sapucaí, competing in the Série Ouro.
