_Encontro acontece na quadra da escola, em Ramos, a partir das 20h_

Em mais um passo rumo ao 10º título de sua história, a Imperatriz Leopoldinense, atual vice-campeã do Carnaval carioca, realiza hoje (25.10), a partir das 20h, na quadra da escola, em Ramos, seu primeiro ensaio de canto com a presença da comunidade e de seus segmentos.

Este será o primeiro contato dos componentes do Complexo do Alemão e de toda Zona da Leopoldina com o hino oficial que irá para a Marquês de Sapucaí no ano que vem, após a grande final de samba-enredo, realizada em setembro, e as gravações para o canal da escola no YouTube e para a Rio Carnaval.

“É um dia muito especial, do nosso pontapé inicial ao lado dessa comunidade que já abraçou a obra e vai cantar muito. Temos um dos maiores sambas do Carnaval mais uma vez, e eu estou muito feliz, porque a Imperatriz vai emocionar novamente”, afirma o intérprete da verde, branco e dourado, Pitty de Menezes.

Após o ensaio, o samba continua na casa da Rainha de Ramos, com a participação especial do Pagode do Mestre Lolo, para embalar o fim de semana dos gresilenses.

Em 2025, a Imperatriz levará para a avenida o enredo _“ÓMI TÚTU AO OLÚFON – Água fresca para o senhor de Ifón”_, do carnavalesco Leandro Vieira, que vai para o seu terceiro desfile consecutivo na escola.

A agremiação, que abordará a temática ligada ao culto orixá e ao candomblé depois de 46 anos, será a segunda escola a desfilar no domingo de Carnaval (02/03), contando a história da saga de Oxalá ao reino de Oyó para visitar Xangô.

It’s Starting! Imperatriz Leopoldinense Holds Its First Rehearsal with the Community and Segments for Carnival 2025

The event takes place at the school’s quad in Ramos, starting at 8 p.m.

In another step toward securing its 10th title, Imperatriz Leopoldinense, the current runner-up of the Rio Carnival, will hold its first singing rehearsal today (October 25) at 8 p.m. at the school’s quad in Ramos. The community and various segments of the school will be in attendance.

This marks the first opportunity for members from the Complexo do Alemão and the entire Leopoldina area to engage with the official anthem for next year’s parade. The anthem was chosen in September’s samba-enredo final and recorded for the school’s YouTube channel and the Rio Carnival platform.

“It’s a very special day, the first step alongside this community that has embraced the song and will sing their hearts out. Once again, we have one of the greatest sambas for this Carnival, and I am thrilled because Imperatriz will deliver another emotional performance,” said Pitty de Menezes, the lead singer for the green, white, and gold school.

After the rehearsal, the festivities will continue at the “Queen of Ramos” quad with a special performance by Mestre Lolo’s Pagode group, setting the weekend mood for the school’s supporters.

In 2025, Imperatriz will take to the Sambadrome with the theme “ÓMI TÚTU AO OLÚFON – Fresh Water for the Lord of Ifón”, created by Leandro Vieira, who will design his third consecutive parade for the school.

After 46 years, the school returns to a theme inspired by the orixá cult and Candomblé. Imperatriz will be the second school to perform on Carnival Sunday (March 2), narrating the journey of Oxalá to the Kingdom of Oyó to visit Xangô.
