Para estrear em grande estilo no Grupo Especial do Carnaval Carioca, Vanessa Rangeli conheceu o figurino que usará à frente dos ritmistas da “Cadência de Niterói” em 2026. A rainha de bateria da Acadêmicos de Niterói recebeu diretamente das mãos do carnavalesco Tiago Martins o croqui da sua fantasia.
– Já estava ansiosa demais para esse momento, mas valeu muito a pena esperar. Fiquei encantada com o figurino e achei ele ousado, mas com uma pegada de elegância. Com certeza terá um grande impacto na avenida e quero estar à altura da minha bateria e de todo o carnaval da escola – revelou Vanessa.
A agremiação, que fará uma homenagem ao Presidente da República Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, abrirá os desfiles do Grupo Especial no carnaval carioca de 2026 com o enredo “Do alto do mulungu surge a esperança: Lula, o operário do Brasil”

Vanessa Rangeli Receives Costume Sketch for Her Debut as Drum Queen

To make her debut in grand style in the Rio Carnival’s Special Group, Vanessa Rangeli has now seen the costume she will wear at the front of the “Cadência de Niterói” drummers in 2026. The drum queen of Acadêmicos de Niterói received the sketch of her costume directly from carnival designer Tiago Martins.
“I was already extremely anxious for this moment, but it was well worth the wait. I was enchanted by the costume and found it bold, yet with a touch of elegance. It will definitely have a big impact on the avenue, and I want to live up to my drum section and to the entire carnival of the school,” said Vanessa.
The samba school, which will pay tribute to the President of the Republic Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, will open the Special Group parades at Rio Carnival 2026 with the theme “From the Top of the Mulungu, Hope Emerges: Lula, the Worker of Brazil.”
