Viradouro Introduces New Muse on Saturday
A comunidade da Unidos do Viradouro vai conhecer a nova musa da escola no próximo sábado, dia 6, no evento que vai movimentar a quadra da escola a partir das 19h e com entrada gratuita.
Natural de São Paulo, Madu Fraga, que vai estrear no Sambódromo carioca em 2026 defendendo a agremiação de Niterói, é rainha de bateria do Vai-Vai. Por isso, segmentos da agremiação paulistana estarão na festa com representantes de seus principais segmentos, ao som da bateria dos mestres Beto e Tadeu, embalados pela voz do intérprete Luiz Felipe.
Também haverá show dos segmentos da Viradouro, com mestre Ciça e seus ritmistas, com Wander Pires, dono da voz oficial da vermelho e branco, passistas e casais de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira. Outra atração da noite será mais uma etapa eliminatória do concurso de samba-enredo, com apresentação das seis obras que ainda continuam na disputa.
A quadra da Viradouro fica na Av. do Contorno, 16, no Barreto. A entrada é gratuita, a mesa está sendo vendida a R$ 160,00 e o camarote, R$ 1.500,00. Informações 21-28280658.

The Unidos do Viradouro community will meet the school’s new muse next Saturday, September 6, at an event that will liven up the samba hall starting at 7 p.m., with free admission.
Born in São Paulo, Madu Fraga will make her debut at the Rio Sambadrome in 2026, representing the Niterói-based school. She is also the drum queen of Vai-Vai, and members of the São Paulo samba powerhouse will attend the celebration, with representatives from its main wings, accompanied by the drums of maestros Beto and Tadeu and the voice of interpreter Luiz Felipe.
The evening will also feature performances by Viradouro’s own segments, with mestre Ciça and his percussionists, Wander Pires — the official voice of the red and white — as well as the school’s passistas and master of ceremonies & flag bearer couples. Another highlight will be the next elimination round of the samba-enredo competition, featuring six entries still in the running.
