Virtual Carnival League Celebrates 10 Years and Gears Up for 2025 Parades
Liga do Carnaval Virtual celebra 10 anos e se prepara para desfiles de 2025
Os preparativos para o Carnaval Virtual 2025 estão a todo vapor. Sob comando do CAV, o conhecido “desfile de desenho” já tem datas para acontecer neste ano, onde completa 10 anos de gestão. A modalidade, que existe desde 2003, já revelou grandes nomes para o carnaval real como os carnavalescos Jorge Silveira, João Vitor Araújo, Renato Esteves, Guilherme Estevão, Lucas Milato, Nicolas Gonçalves, Marcus Ferreira, entre outros talentos.
Atualmente a liga é composta por 44 agremiações, divididas em 3 grupos: Acesso 2, Acesso 1 e Grupo Especial. A ordem dos desfiles será realizada em um sorteio no dia 30 de agosto. No momento as agremiações estão em fase de gravações dos sambas, para os desfiles que acontecem em uma passarela virtual.
– Muitas pessoas veem o carnaval virtual como uma brincadeira, mas é uma verdadeira vitrine de talentos. Temos grandes nomes que foram revelados pelo carnaval virtual, não só carnavalescos como intérpretes e enredistas também. Assim como o real, temos prazos, escolas realizam disputa de samba, e a cada ano sentimos que o nosso espetáculo cresce ainda mais – revela Diego Araújo.
Sob a gestão de Diego Araújo, o CAV segue seu calendário para os desfiles de 2025, onde será realizado no dia 1º de novembro o Grupo de acesso 2, nos dias 8 e 9 de novembro o Grupo de acesso 1 e fechando os trabalhos no dia 22 e 23 de novembro com o Grupo Especial. O resultado final é revelado com a apuração realizada no dia 07 de dezembro.

Virtual Carnival League Celebrates 10 Years and Gears Up for 2025 Parades
Preparations for the 2025 Virtual Carnival are in full swing. Led by CAV (Virtual Carnival Association), the well-known “drawing parade” already has set dates for this year, in which it celebrates 10 years of management. The format, which has existed since 2003, has revealed great talents who transitioned to the real carnival, such as carnival designers Jorge Silveira, João Vitor Araújo, Renato Esteves, Guilherme Estevão, Lucas Milato, Nicolas Gonçalves, Marcus Ferreira, among others.
Currently, the league is composed of 44 associations divided into three groups: Access 2, Access 1, and the Special Group. The parade order will be determined by a draw on August 30. At the moment, the schools are in the process of recording their samba tracks, preparing for the parades that take place on a virtual runway.
“Many people see the virtual carnival as just a game, but it’s truly a showcase of talent. We’ve had great names emerge from the virtual scene—not only carnival designers but also samba singers and theme writers. Just like in the real carnival, we have deadlines, schools hold samba contests, and each year we feel our show growing even more,” says Diego Araújo.
Under the leadership of Diego Araújo, CAV is following its 2025 parade schedule:
• November 1 – Access Group 2
• November 8 and 9 – Access Group 1
• November 22 and 23 – Special Group
The final results will be announced during the scoring event on December 7.
