Liga RJ renova com Macaco Branco para produção do álbum da Série Ouro 2026

Pelo quinto ano seguido, produtor estará à frente do projeto que reúne os sambas dos desfiles marcados para os dias 13 e 14 de fevereiro, na Marquês de Sapucaí
Na tarde desta sexta-feira (1º), a Liga RJ oficializou a renovação pelo quinto ano seguido com o produtor musical Macaco Branco, que seguirá à frente da direção e produção do álbum da Série Ouro para o Carnaval 2026. O encontro que selou o acordo aconteceu na sede da entidade, localizada no Centro do Rio de Janeiro, e contou com a presença do presidente Hugo Junior e da diretora de carnaval Carla Brito.
Para Macaco Branco, a renovação representa não só o reconhecimento do trabalho realizado, mas também uma responsabilidade ainda maior com a produção musical do carnaval. Ele celebrou o novo ciclo e se mostrou motivado com o desafio de seguir elevando o nível do projeto.
“É um prazer imenso estar direcionando e produzindo, pelo quinto ano consecutivo, o álbum da Série Ouro. Agradeço ao presidente Hugo Junior pela confiança no meu trabalho. Que seja mais um ano de um álbum lindo e de grandes sambas. Que possamos fazer um grande trabalho e que esses sambas consigam elevar a nossa cultura para todos os lugares do mundo, como algo tão positivo e brilhante quanto a nossa festa”, declarou Macaco Branco.
Hugo Junior, presidente da Liga RJ, também destacou a importância da continuidade da parceria, elogiando a consistência e o impacto positivo do trabalho de Macaco Branco ao longo dos últimos carnavais. Segundo ele, o álbum da Série Ouro já se tornou uma referência de qualidade, tanto para os profissionais do setor quanto para os amantes do samba.
“Estamos muito felizes com a continuidade do trabalho do Macaco Branco à frente da produção do nosso álbum. A cada ano, ele se consolida como sinônimo de qualidade. O álbum da Série Ouro tem agradado à crítica, às escolas e, principalmente, aos fãs de carnaval. A produção do novo álbum está prevista para começar em outubro e irá reunir os sambas que serão apresentados nos desfiles da Série Ouro de 2026, marcados para os dias 13 e 14 de fevereiro, na Marquês de Sapucaí.

For the fifth consecutive year, the producer will lead the project featuring the sambas of the parades scheduled for February 13 and 14 at Marquês de Sapucaí
On the afternoon of Friday, August 1st, Liga RJ officially announced the renewal of its partnership with music producer Macaco Branco for the fifth consecutive year. He will once again be in charge of directing and producing the Série Ouro album for Carnival 2026. The meeting that sealed the agreement took place at the organization’s headquarters, located in downtown Rio de Janeiro, and was attended by Liga RJ president Hugo Junior and carnival director Carla Brito.
For Macaco Branco, the renewal represents not only recognition of the work done so far but also a greater responsibility regarding the musical production of Carnival. He celebrated the new cycle and expressed enthusiasm for the challenge of continuing to raise the standard of the project.
“It is a great pleasure to be directing and producing the Série Ouro album for the fifth consecutive year. I thank president Hugo Junior for his trust in my work. May this be another year of a beautiful album and great sambas. We hope to deliver excellent work and help elevate our culture around the world, showcasing it as something as positive and brilliant as our celebration,” said Macaco Branco.
Liga RJ president Hugo Junior also highlighted the importance of continuing the partnership, praising the consistency and positive impact of Macaco Branco’s work in recent carnivals. According to him, the Série Ouro album has become a benchmark for quality, both for professionals in the industry and for samba enthusiasts.
“We are very happy with Macaco Branco continuing to lead the production of our album. Each year, he further establishes himself as a symbol of quality. The Série Ouro album has been well received by critics, samba schools, and especially by Carnival fans. We have full confidence in Macaco’s talent and dedication—he has been doing a brilliant job,” said Hugo Junior.
Production of the new album is scheduled to begin in October and will feature the sambas to be presented in the Série Ouro parades of 2026, set to take place on February 13 and 14 at Marquês de Sapucaí.
