Prefeitura abre inscrições para o concurso que elege a Corte Real do Carnaval 2026
Estão abertas as inscrições para o concurso que vai escolher a Corte Real do Carnaval 2026. A seleção, idealizada e administrada pela Riotur, definirá o Rei Momo, Rainha, Primeira e Segunda Princesas; Já o concurso da Corte Real LGBT+ vai eleger o Muso, Musa e Pessoa Não Binária.
As inscrições são gratuitas e estarão disponíveis de 25 de agosto (segunda-feira) a 26 de setembro (sexta-feira), por e-mail ou presencialmente na sede da Riotur.
“A Corte Real cumpre um papel histórico no Carnaval do Rio, representando a tradição e a organização da festa. A Corte Real LGBT+ reafirma o caráter plural do evento e valoriza a diversidade que marca o nosso Carnaval”, afirma Bernardo Fellows, presidente da Riotur.
Podem participar candidatos com 18 anos ou mais, residentes no Estado do Rio de Janeiro, com ensino fundamental completo. Para os cargos de Muso, Musa e Pessoa Não Binária, é necessário se identificar como integrante do grupo LGBT+.
O regulamento e a ficha de inscrição podem ser solicitados por e-mail ou retirados na sede da Riotur. As datas das eliminatórias serão divulgadas em breve. Pedidos de esclarecimento poderão ser encaminhados até 26 de setembro.

City Hall Opens Registration for the Contest to Elect the Royal Court of Carnival 2026
Registration is now open for the contest that will select the Royal Court of Carnival 2026. Organized and managed by Riotur, the selection will determine the King Momo, Queen, First Princess, and Second Princess. Meanwhile, the Royal LGBT+ Court contest will elect the Muso, Musa, and Non-Binary Representative.
Registration is free and will be available from August 25 (Monday) to September 26 (Friday), either by email or in person at Riotur’s headquarters.
“The Royal Court plays a historic role in Rio’s Carnival, representing the tradition and structure of the celebration. The Royal LGBT+ Court reaffirms the plural character of the event and highlights the diversity that defines our Carnival,” said Bernardo Fellows, president of Riotur.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, residents of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and have completed elementary education. For the Muso, Musa, and Non-Binary Representative roles, candidates must identify as part of the LGBT+ community.
The rules and registration forms can be requested via email or picked up at Riotur’s headquarters. The dates for the elimination rounds will be announced soon. Requests for clarification may be submitted until September 26.
