Ressignificar narrativas sociais e pessoais no Brasil, abordando questões raciais, de gênero, classe, trabalho, migrações e pertencimento é a proposta central do espetáculo Tudo que eu (não) vivi, que será apresentado no palco do Teatro Firjan SESI Caxias, no próximo dia 14 de Setembro. Os atores Jean Fontes, Gabriel Ribeiro, Letícia Queiroz e Ruan Viana estarão em cena contando essas histórias, que são compostas pelos seguintes personagens: Assis, que sonha em ser poeta no Rio de Janeiro; Juliano, que um dia se formará em medicina e buscará a realização de suas utopias; Zé Palmares, que desceu do Norte em busca de escrever linhas melhores em sua história; e a moça, que lá no morro chamam de Maria, que às vezes não tem nome, apenas alguns apelidos — a que ficou, e ficou só. 

” Nossa peça traz histórias reinventadas que emergem como um convite à reflexão sobre as precariedades da vida. Assim, a proposta do espetáculo é buscar uma reflexão sobre os modos de ressignificação e produções de vivências que, mesmo atravessadas por violências cotidianas, se reinventam e dão espaço para criações de existências diversas que promovam uma política do bem-viver no Brasil.”, explica o diretor Wellington Júnior.

O espetáculo mistura crônica, ensaio, autobiografia, ficção e memória para construir uma narrativa fragmentada, onde se entrelaçam histórias dos migrantes. Esse mosaico de lembranças, cenas e reflexões cotidianas forma uma verdadeira cartografia, convidando o espectador a perder-se nos labirintos das cidades e das memórias, numa imersão poético-política que questiona as fronteiras entre realidade e ficção. 

Tudo que eu (não) vivi também investiga uma linguagem que relaciona os modos de vida dos artistas circenses e mambembes a trabalhadores subalternizados e marginalizados ao longo da história.  Dessa forma, fica estabelecida uma metáfora sobre o sentido da vida a partir da vida no circo, agregando teatro, cinema e performance. O espetáculo é apresentado pelo Governo Federal, Ministério da Cultura, Governo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Secretaria de Estado de Cultura e Economia Criativa do Rio de Janeiro, através da Política Nacional Aldir Blanc (PNAB).

All That I (Didn’t) Live: Play Brings Stories of Migrants from Northern and Northeastern Brazil

The play is an invitation to reflect on life in the country
Reframing social and personal narratives in Brazil—addressing issues of race, gender, class, labor, migration, and belonging—is the central proposal of the play All That I (Didn’t) Live, which will be staged at Teatro Firjan SESI Caxias on September 14.
Actors Jean Fontes, Gabriel Ribeiro, Letícia Queiroz, and Ruan Viana will bring these stories to life through characters such as: Assis, who dreams of becoming a poet in Rio de Janeiro; Juliano, who one day will graduate in medicine and seek the fulfillment of his utopias; Zé Palmares, who left the North in search of writing better lines in his life story; and the young woman from the hill known as Maria, who sometimes has no name, only a few nicknames—the one who stayed, and stayed alone.
“Our play brings reinvented stories that emerge as an invitation to reflect on life’s precarities. The purpose of the show is to encourage reflection on the ways of reframing and producing experiences that, even when marked by everyday violence, reinvent themselves and create spaces for diverse existences that promote a politics of good living in Brazil,” explains director Wellington Júnior.
The play blends chronicle, essay, autobiography, fiction, and memory to build a fragmented narrative where migrants’ stories intertwine. This mosaic of memories, everyday scenes, and reflections creates a true cartography, inviting the audience to get lost in the labyrinths of cities and memories, in a poetic-political immersion that questions the boundaries between reality and fiction.
All That I (Didn’t) Live also explores a language that relates the lifestyles of circus and traveling artists to subjugated and marginalized workers throughout history. In doing so, it establishes a metaphor about the meaning of life through circus life, combining theater, cinema, and performance.
The production is presented by the Federal Government, Ministry of Culture, State Government of Rio de Janeiro, and the State Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of Rio de Janeiro, through the Aldir Blanc National Policy (PNAB).
