Sylvia Nazareth lança “Pra que serve?” – single antecipa álbum e mostra que talento é coisa de família

Nos próximos dias, a cantora e atriz Sylvia Nazareth estará lançando, nas plataformas de áudio, o single intitulado “Pra Que Serve?” e em parceria com a ONErpm.  A canção precede o lançamento de um álbum previsto para o primeiro semestre de 2026. Entre as outras  músicas que irão constar do álbum de Sylvinha, uma trará a participação da tia famosa, Alcione, com quem Sylvia trabalha por fazer parte da Banda do Sol como backing vocal. 

Antes de conhecermos a faixa que trará a participação especial da Marrom, ainda teremos um outro single (que já está sendo preparado para lançamento nas plataformas). Quanto ao videoclipe de “Pra Que Serve?”, é ambientado como se transitasse em um sonho permeado por elementos característicos: louco e, ao  mesmo tempo, explicativo.

Biografia – SYLVIA NAZARETH

Sylvia Nazareth nasceu em berço musical e cresceu entre as coxias do Brasil: filha de guitarrista e empresária artística, é também sobrinha da cantora Alcione. O avô materno, João Carlos, era maestro e professor de música, especialista em instrumentos de sopro. O avô paterno, o contrabaixista Jorge Oscar, já atuou junto à artistas de renome da música popular brasileira, como Gal Costa, João Donato, Ed Mota, Sivuca e Bibi Ferreira.

Com esse poderoso DNA, Sylvia criou seu próprio estilo, trilhando duas carreiras, mesclando teatralidade ao seu som. Em alguns trabalhos, foi só atriz, como no caso da personagem Alana, na novela global “Cheias de Charme” famosa pelas Empreguetes. Em outros foi só cantora, atuando como backing vocal da cantora Alcione, tendo inclusive gravado o dueto “À Sombra do Teu Sorriso / The Shadow Of Your Smile” com a Marrom, no CD/DVD “Boleros”. Em outros, utilizou suas duas profissões, como nos Musicais “Dona Ivone Lara” e “O Anti-Musical”.

Em janeiro de 2024 Sylvia lançou seu primeiro EP, intitulado de ˜2003”, com 03 músicas inéditas, clipes e trazendo um acento  calcado nas hostes do rock. E com um discurso empoderado, dando voz à mulher que não rege sua vida pelos padrões impostos pela sociedade, inclusive quanto ao peso considerado como  “ideal”.

A voz de Sylvia é suave, mas libertadora. Doce, mas intensa. Tão intensa quanto é o talento que traz em seu privilegiado DNA.

Sylvia Nazareth releases “Pra Que Serve?” – single anticipates album and proves that talent runs in the family

In the coming days, singer and actress Sylvia Nazareth will be releasing, on streaming platforms, her new single titled “Pra Que Serve?”, in partnership with ONErpm. The song precedes the launch of an album scheduled for the first half of 2026. Among the tracks included in Sylvinha’s album, one will feature her famous aunt, Alcione, with whom Sylvia already works as a backing vocalist in the Banda do Sol.
Before listeners get to hear the track with the special participation of Marrom (Alcione’s nickname), another single—already in preparation—will be released on streaming platforms.
As for the music video of “Pra Que Serve?”, it unfolds as if within a dream, filled with characteristic elements: surreal yet explanatory at the same time.

Biography – SYLVIA NAZARETH
Sylvia Nazareth was born into a musical household and grew up backstage in Brazil. Daughter of a guitarist and artistic manager, she is also the niece of singer Alcione. Her maternal grandfather, João Carlos, was a conductor and music teacher, specializing in wind instruments. Her paternal grandfather, bassist Jorge Oscar, played alongside major names in Brazilian popular music, such as Gal Costa, João Donato, Ed Motta, Sivuca, and Bibi Ferreira.
With such a powerful DNA, Sylvia developed her own style, building dual careers that merge theatricality with her sound. In some works, she performed solely as an actress, such as her role as Alana in the hit TV Globo soap opera Cheias de Charme—famous for the group Empreguetes. In others, she appeared only as a singer, working as a backing vocalist for Alcione, even recording the duet “À Sombra do Teu Sorriso / The Shadow of Your Smile” with Marrom on the CD/DVD Boleros. She has also combined both professions in musicals such as “Dona Ivone Lara” and “O Anti-Musical”.
In January 2024, Sylvia released her first EP, titled 2003, featuring three original tracks, music videos, and a sound rooted in rock influences. With an empowering message, she gives voice to women who refuse to live by society’s imposed standards—including those regarding so-called “ideal” body weight.
Sylvia’s voice is soft yet liberating. Sweet, yet intense. As intense as the talent carried in her privileged DNA.
