Presidente do Instituto Imperatriz Leopoldinense, João Drumond recebe homenagem da OAB/RJ*
_Diretor financeiro da LIESA foi agraciado com reconhecimento por atuação cultural e social na região da Leopoldina_
Presidente do Instituto Imperatriz Leopoldinense, vice-presidente da Imperatriz e diretor financeiro da LIESA, o jovem João Drumond recebeu na tarde desta quinta-feira (02) uma homenagem da OAB/RJ Subseção da Leopoldina.
No auditório da Ordem dos Advogados, João foi agraciado pelo presidente da Subseção, Alexandre Aguilar, com uma Moção de Aplauso e Placa de Reconhecimento por sua relevante atuação cultural e comunitária em toda Zona da Leopoldina.
Fundador do Instituto Imperatriz, nascido na quadra da Imperatriz Leopoldinense, João promove por meio da instituição diversas ações sociais voltadas para a comunidade do Complexo do Alemão e do entorno.
“Fico muito grato e honrado por receber esta homenagem. É fruto de um trabalho que começou lá atrás com o meu avô, com a minha mãe, e sempre pensado no melhor para toda a nossa comunidade que enfrenta muitas dificuldades no dia-a-dia. Está honraria não é só minha, mas de cada família que integra e acredita no nosso Instituto, que em breve terá sua sede própria, potencializando ainda mais nossos esforços de oferecer dignidade para todos. Muito obrigado OAB pelo reconhecimento e que seja só o começo da nossa luta pelo povo do Rio de Janeiro”, afirmou João Drumond.
O Instituto Imperatriz Leopoldinense é uma entidade sem fins lucrativos, que tem como finalidade única promover cidadania, empatia, oportunidade e amor ao próximo.
No Instituto são oferecidas aulas de balé, Zumba, Samba no Pé, aulas de percussão, oficinas, atendimento psicológico e outras atividades 100% gratuitas.

LIESA’s Financial Director was recognized for his cultural and social work in the Leopoldina region
President of the Imperatriz Leopoldinense Institute, vice-president of Imperatriz, and financial director of LIESA, the young João Drumond was honored on Thursday afternoon (2) by the Leopoldina Chapter of OAB/RJ. At the Lawyers’ Association auditorium, João was presented with a Motion of Applause and a Recognition Plaque by the chapter’s president, Alexandre Aguilar, for his significant cultural and community contributions throughout the Leopoldina area.
Founder of the Imperatriz Institute and born in the Imperatriz Leopoldinense samba school’s headquarters, João promotes through the institution a wide range of social initiatives aimed at the community of the Complexo do Alemão and its surroundings.
“I am very grateful and honored to receive this tribute. It is the result of work that began long ago with my grandfather and my mother, always focused on the best for our community, which faces many daily challenges. This honor is not just mine, but belongs to every family that takes part in and believes in our Institute, which will soon have its own headquarters, further strengthening our efforts to bring dignity to all. Thank you, OAB, for this recognition, and may it be just the beginning of our struggle for the people of Rio de Janeiro,” said João Drumond.
The Imperatriz Leopoldinense Institute is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to promote citizenship, empathy, opportunity, and love for others. The Institute offers free ballet, Zumba, Samba no Pé, percussion classes, workshops, psychological support, and other activities.
