Novo vídeo da era Afetos Cítricos celebra sua força criativa e ancestralidade rítmica
Após o lançamento de Tudo a Ver (Ao Vivo) em 31 de agosto e do EP Afetos Cítricos Ao Vivo no dia 9 de setembro, o cantor, compositor e multi-instrumentista ÀRT apresenta ao público seu mais novo clipe: “Doce Galícia (Ao Vivo)”, já disponível no YouTube. O vídeo é o segundo registro visual do show realizado no Centro Cultural da Justiça Federal, durante o mês do Orgulho LGBT, e dá continuidade à era Afetos Cítricos, um marco na trajetória do artista nascido e criado no Morro da Providência, no Rio de Janeiro. Com letra debochada e provocante, Doce Galícia é uma das faixas mais potentes do EP. A canção se inicia em um samba-rock cheio de swing, conduzido por um baixo pulsante e por um solo percussivo impressionante de ÀRT, que toca simultaneamente timbal e atabaque — uma performance que evidencia sua maestria rítmica e presença de palco. Além de cantor e compositor, ÀRT é fundador da escola de atabaque Atabloco, que há sete anos atua na região da Pequena África e mantém um bloco de carnaval homônimo, reafirmando a força das tradições afro-brasileiras em sua arte.
No decorrer da canção, o samba-rock se transforma em rock and roll com um refrão envolvente e apaixonante, revelando a versatilidade sonora do artista. ÀRT define Doce Galícia como “um divisor de águas” em sua carreira, por consolidar em sua direção musical o elo entre o cantor romântico de R&B e o percussionista enérgico que carrega em si a pulsação dos tambores da diáspora.
No palco, ÀRT é acompanhado por Ricardo Mariani (baixo), Dani Xis (guitarra), Vini Del Rio (teclado), Rodrigo Belço (bateria), Eddu Cravo (percussão) e Lucas Processy (percussão) — uma banda que dá corpo e alma ao arranjo vibrante da faixa. O vídeo, dirigido por Saulo Nicolai — parceiro de longa data do artista e responsável também por seus clipes Repousa e Bicht Não Me Peite —, captura a energia arrebatadora do show com sensibilidade e estética refinada.
O figurino, assinado por Sydney de Souza, traz um visual marcante inspirado em um marinheiro afro-futurista, traduzindo em imagem o conceito de travessia, ancestralidade e liberdade que atravessa todo o trabalho de ÀRT.

New video from the Afetos Cítricos era celebrates his creative power and rhythmic ancestry
After the release of Tudo a Ver (Live) on August 31 and the Afetos Cítricos (Live) EP on September 9, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist ÀRT presents his newest music video: “Doce Galícia (Live)”, now available on YouTube. The video is the second visual record from the show held at the Centro Cultural da Justiça Federal during Pride Month and continues the Afetos Cítricos era — a milestone in the artist’s journey, who was born and raised in Morro da Providência, Rio de Janeiro. With its playful and provocative lyrics, Doce Galícia stands out as one of the most powerful tracks on the EP. The song begins as a samba-rock full of swing, driven by a pulsating bass line and an impressive percussive solo by ÀRT, who simultaneously plays timbal and atabaque — a performance that highlights his rhythmic mastery and commanding stage presence. Beyond being a singer and songwriter, ÀRT is also the founder of the percussion school Atabloco, which has been active for seven years in the Pequena África region and maintains a carnival bloco of the same name, reaffirming the strength of Afro-Brazilian traditions in his art.
As the song unfolds, the samba-rock evolves into an electrifying rock and roll with an engaging and passionate chorus, revealing the artist’s musical versatility. ÀRT describes Doce Galícia as “a turning point” in his career, as it consolidates in his musical direction the bridge between the romantic R&B singer and the energetic percussionist who carries within him the heartbeat of the diaspora’s drums.
On stage, ÀRT is joined by Ricardo Mariani (bass), Dani Xis (guitar), Vini Del Rio (keyboard), Rodrigo Belço (drums), Eddu Cravo (percussion), and Lucas Processy (percussion) — a band that gives body and soul to the track’s vibrant arrangement. The video, directed by Saulo Nicolai — a longtime collaborator who also directed ÀRT’s previous videos Repousa and Bicht Não Me Peite — captures the electrifying energy of the performance with sensitivity and refined aesthetics.
The costume, designed by Sydney de Souza, presents a striking look inspired by an Afrofuturist sailor, visually translating the concepts of crossing, ancestry, and freedom that permeate ÀRT’s entire body of work.
With Doce Galícia (Live), ÀRT reaffirms his identity as a Black, LGBT, and peripheral artist who transforms lived experience into power, rhythm into storytelling, and affection into resistance.
