‘É escrita sem censura’! Parceria de Hamilton Fofão vence samba no Império Serrano em homenagem à Conceição Evaristo

Reizinho tem samba definido para a disputa da Série Ouro em 2026; noite é marcado por emoção e homenagens

O Império Serrano definiu, no início da manhã deste domingo (19), o samba-enredo que representará a escola no Carnaval 2026. A parceria liderada por Hamilton Fofão, do Samba 9, foi a grande vencedora da disputa e será o hino do enredo “Ponciá Evaristo Flor do Mulungu”, homenagem à escritora mineira Conceição Evaristo, desenvolvido pelo carnavalesco Renato Esteves para a Série Ouro.
A decisão, realizada na quadra da agremiação em Madureira, reuniu quatro parcerias finalistas e contou com uma homenagem especial ao compositor Aluisio Machado, maior vencedor de disputas de samba-enredo da história do Império Serrano. O troféu entregue à parceria campeã leva, inclusive, o nome do artista.
Com uma apresentação marcada pela emoção e pela força do canto da comunidade, o samba de Hamilton Fofão, Dudu Senna, Leandro Maninho, Cláudio Russo, Lico Monteiro, Jorginho da Flor, Silvio Romal e Marco Aurélio conquistou o público e o júri, sendo consagrado como o hino imperiano para o próximo carnaval.

Em busca do título da Série Ouro, o Império Serrano será a quarta escola a desfilar no dia 14 de fevereiro, sábado, na Marquês de Sapucaí.

Reizinho now has its samba anthem defined for the 2026 Série Ouro competition; an emotional night filled with tributes
Império Serrano chose, in the early hours of Sunday (19), the samba-enredo that will represent the school at Carnival 2026. The partnership led by Hamilton Fofão, from Samba 9, won the contest and will be the anthem of the theme “Ponciá Evaristo – Flower of the Mulungu Tree”, a tribute to the writer from Minas Gerais, Conceição Evaristo, developed by carnival designer Renato Esteves for the Série Ouro division.
The final decision, held at the school’s quadra in Madureira, brought together four finalist partnerships and featured a special tribute to composer Aluisio Machado, the most awarded samba-enredo composer in Império Serrano’s history. The trophy presented to the winning team was even named in his honor.
With a performance full of emotion and strengthened by the powerful voices of the community, the samba composed by Hamilton Fofão, Dudu Senna, Leandro Maninho, Cláudio Russo, Lico Monteiro, Jorginho da Flor, Silvio Romal, and Marco Aurélio captivated both the public and the judges, earning the title of the school’s official anthem for the next carnival.

Competing for the Série Ouro title, Império Serrano will be the fourth school to parade on February 14th, Saturday, at Marquês de Sapucaí.
