A noite de escolha de samba do Império Serrano para 2026 foi mais do que especial. Passista da escola, Andressa Fonseca foi anunciada como nova Princesa da agremiação para o próximo desfile. O anúncio, feito de surpresa, emocionou não só a passista, mas toda comunidade imperiana e os integrantes da ala do reizinho de Madureira.
Andressa começou no carnaval em 2019 e nunca mais parou. Já desfilou em alegorias, comissão de frente e ala de passistas de coirmãs. Na Intendente Magalhães foi musa da Leão de Nova Iguaçu. Integrando a ala de passistas do Império Serrano, participou do concurso da corte real em 2024 representando a agremiação e atualmente também era passista show nos eventos e apresentações.
– Não tenho palavras para descrever o que eu senti neste sábado. O samba faz parte da minha vida, lugar que me sinto bem e o Império Serrano é minha segunda família. Então é gratificante demais receber esse título de Princesa da escola e ver um reconhecimento vindo de uma agremiação tão potente e que valoriza o seu chão. Quero agradecer a toda diretoria pela confiança depositada em mim e também a minha diretora Carolline Cardoso por todo suporte não só a mim, mas como toda a ala de passistas – revela Andressa.
Além do anúncio no Império, na manhã deste domingo, 19, Andressa também recebeu o Prêmio Samba no Pé como melhor Passista feminino da Série Ouro no carnaval de 2025.

School Passista Andressa Fonseca Announced as the New Princess of Império Serrano
The night of Império Serrano’s samba selection for 2026 was more than special. The school’s passista, Andressa Fonseca, was announced as the new Princess of the samba school for the next parade. The surprise announcement moved not only the dancer but also the entire Império Serrano community and members of the Madureira royal wing.
Andressa began her Carnival journey in 2019 and hasn’t stopped since. She has paraded on floats, in the front commission, and in the passista wings of other samba schools. On Intendente Magalhães Avenue, she was the muse of Leão de Nova Iguaçu. As a member of Império Serrano’s passista wing, she represented the school in the 2024 Royal Court contest and has also performed as a show passista at events and presentations.
“I have no words to describe what I felt this Saturday. Samba is part of my life, a place where I feel at home, and Império Serrano is my second family. So, it’s extremely rewarding to receive this title of Princess from a school so powerful and that truly values its roots. I want to thank the entire board for their trust in me and also my director, Carolline Cardoso, for all the support not only to me but to the entire passista wing,” said Andressa.
In addition to the announcement at Império Serrano, on the morning of Sunday, the 19th, Andressa also received the Samba no Pé Award as the Best Female Passista of the Série Ouro in Carnival 2025.
