A quarta-feira, 5 de novembro, foi de clima carnavalesco no barracão da Beija-Flor de Nilópolis. A atriz Giovanna Lancellotti esteve no espaço para receber o croqui da fantasia que usará no Carnaval 2026. O desenho foi entregue pelo carnavalesco João Vitor Araújo, responsável pela criação artística do enredo “Bembé”, homenagem da azul e branca à celebração centenária do Recôncavo Baiano.
O próximo desfile marca o quarto ano consecutivo de Giovanna na escola. Mais uma vez, ela estará no início da apresentação, posição de destaque tradicionalmente dedicada à família de seu marido, Gabriel David, filho do presidente de honra da Beija-Flor, Anísio Abrahão David.
Durante a visita, a atriz percorreu o barracão, acompanhou os trabalhos em andamento e viu de perto o avanço das alegorias e fantasias que darão vida ao enredo na Sapucaí. Ao receber o croqui, ela se emocionou com o resultado. Giovanna afirmou: “Hoje vi o croqui da minha fantasia e estou completamente apaixonada! Muito linda! Diferente de tudo que já usei, cor, elementos, significado, materiais. É impressionante o talento, a sabedoria, a potência e a sensibilidade de quem trabalha na Beija-flor! Nosso Carnavalesco João Vitor Araújo mais uma vez brilhando. Admiro muito! Ouvi encantada as explicações sobre a fantasia e também todos os carros alegóricos. Bembé! O desfile vai ser simplesmente incrível!”
João Vitor Araújo também comentou sobre o figurino. Ele explicou que a fantasia da atriz traz a energia do Bembé, com muita felicidade, muita alegria, muito luxo, muito brilho e muita realização, que é o que a festa merece e o que a festa tem. O carnavalesco destacou ainda que a proposta é traduzir simbolicamente toda essa força, já que o Bembé atravessa gerações e mantém vivo um legado ultravalioso para o Brasil.
A Beija-Flor será a segunda escola a desfilar na Marquês de Sapucaí na segunda-feira de Carnaval, 16 de fevereiro, levando para a avenida um cortejo que celebra as águas, os orixás e a tradição ancestral do Bembé do Mercado.

Giovanna Lancellotti discovers her 2026 Carnival costume during a visit to Beija-Flor’s barracão
Wednesday, November 5, was filled with Carnival spirit at the Beija-Flor de Nilópolis barracão. Actress Giovanna Lancellotti visited the space to receive the sketch of the costume she will wear for Carnival 2026. The design was presented by carnavalesco João Vitor Araújo, responsible for the artistic creation of the theme “Bembé”, Beija-Flor’s tribute to the centenary celebration from the Recôncavo Baiano.
This upcoming parade will mark Giovanna’s fourth consecutive year with the school. Once again, she will take part at the beginning of the parade, a position of honor traditionally dedicated to the family of her husband, Gabriel David, son of Beija-Flor’s honorary president, Anísio Abrahão David.
During her visit, the actress toured the barracão, followed the ongoing work, and saw up close the progress of the floats and costumes that will bring the storyline to life on Sapucaí. Upon receiving the sketch, she was moved by the result.
Giovanna said:
“Today I saw the sketch of my costume and I’m completely in love! It’s so beautiful—unlike anything I’ve ever worn before—the colors, the elements, the meaning, the materials. The talent, wisdom, strength, and sensitivity of the Beija-Flor team are truly impressive! Our carnavalesco João Vitor Araújo shines once again. I admire him so much! I was captivated listening to all the explanations about the costume and the floats. Bembé! The parade is going to be simply amazing!”
João Vitor Araújo also spoke about the costume, explaining that it embodies the energy of the Bembé, radiating joy, luxury, sparkle, and fulfillment—everything the celebration deserves and represents. The carnavalesco emphasized that the goal is to symbolically translate this power, since the Bembé transcends generations and keeps alive a legacy of immense cultural value for Brazil.
Beija-Flor de Nilópolis will be the second school to parade down Marquês de Sapucaí on Carnival Monday, February 16, presenting a cortege that celebrates the waters, the orixás, and the ancestral tradition of the Bembé do Mercado.
