Unidos de Padre Miguel celebra feijoada de aniversário com quadra lotada e grandes atrações

A Unidos de Padre Miguel realizou, na tarde deste domingo (16), uma edição histórica da sua tradicional Feijoada, celebrando os 68 anos da agremiação em grande estilo. A quadra ficou completamente lotada e recebeu um público animado, que acompanhou uma programação recheada de atrações especiais e momentos marcantes.

Abrindo os trabalhos no palco, o grupo Cafofo de Iaiá deu início à festa com muito samba e autenticidade, aquecendo o clima na quadra da Vermelha e Branca. Logo depois, foi a vez do Samba à Bangu, que manteve o alto astral e levantou o público que lotou as dependências da escola. A tarde também contou com uma participação especial do talentoso Chacal do Sax, que trouxe ainda mais musicalidade ao evento.

Um dos pontos altos da feijoada foi a apresentação oficial de dois nomes que passaram a integrar o Carnaval 2026 da UPM: a musa Jaqueline e o passista da diversidade Luís Otávio. Ambos foram ovacionados pela comunidade assim que subiram ao palco, em um momento de forte emoção e representatividade.

Na sequência, a escola deu início ao tradicional show dos segmentos. Baianas, passistas, velha guarda, comissão de frente, casais e demais segmentos fizeram um grande espetáculo, embalados pela voz potente do intérprete Bruno Ribas, com o ritmo inconfundível da Bateria Guerreiros, de mestre Laion.

Como grande atração da tarde, a coirmã Beija-Flor de Nilópolis, atual campeã do Carnaval 2025, subiu ao palco e apresentou um super show que arrebatou o público. Com um elenco de peso e um repertório vibrante, a azul e branca deu um brilho especial ao evento, reforçando a parceria e o respeito entre as agremiações. A festa terminou já na madrugada desta segunda com a apresentação dos pagodeiros do grupo PegaBlack.

Durante a festa, a presidente Lara Mara destacou a força da comunidade e o foco da escola para o próximo desfile.
“A Unidos de Padre Miguel vem para brigar pelo título da Série Ouro e pelo nosso retorno ao Grupo Especial. Estamos trabalhando forte e, juntos, chegaremos lá”, declarou, sendo muito aplaudida.
Encerrada a feijoada, a Vermelha e Branca já se prepara para a próxima etapa rumo ao Carnaval 2026. Nesta sexta-feira, 21 de novembro, a Unidos de Padre Miguel dará início aos seus ensaios de rua na Vila Vintém, marcando o começo de um novo ciclo de preparação.

Unidos de Padre Miguel Celebrates Anniversary Feijoada with a Packed Quadra and Major Attractions

This Sunday afternoon (16), Unidos de Padre Miguel hosted a historic edition of its traditional Feijoada, celebrating the school’s 68th anniversary in grand style. The quadra was completely packed, welcoming an enthusiastic crowd that enjoyed a schedule full of special attractions and unforgettable moments.
Opening the festivities on stage, the group Cafofo de Iaiá set the tone with plenty of samba and authenticity, heating up the atmosphere in the Red and White’s quadra. They were followed by Samba à Bangu, who kept the energy high and lifted the audience that filled every corner of the school. The afternoon also featured a special performance by the talented Chacal do Sax, adding even more musicality to the event.
One of the highlights of the feijoada was the official presentation of two new members of UPM’s 2026 Carnival team: Musa Jaqueline and diversity passista Luís Otávio. Both were greeted with ovations from the community as soon as they took the stage, in a moment filled with emotion and representation.
Next, the school began its traditional segments show. Baianas, passistas, the velha guarda, the front commission, couples, and all other segments delivered a grand spectacle, driven by the powerful voice of interpreter Bruno Ribas and the unmistakable rhythm of the Guerreiros Drum Section, led by Mestre Laion.
As the main attraction of the afternoon, co-sister school Beija-Flor de Nilópolis, the reigning champion of Carnival 2025, took the stage and delivered a spectacular show that thrilled the audience. With a strong cast and a vibrant repertoire, the blue and white brought a special shine to the event, reinforcing the partnership and mutual respect between the schools. The celebration ended in the early hours of Monday with a performance by the pagode group PegaBlack.
During the event, president Lara Mara highlighted the strength of the community and the school’s focus for the upcoming parade. “Unidos de Padre Miguel is coming to fight for the Série Ouro title and for our return to the Special Group. We are working hard, and together, we will get there,” she said, receiving loud applause.
As the feijoada came to a close, the Red and White is already preparing for the next stage toward Carnival 2026. This Friday, November 21, Unidos de Padre Miguel will kick off its street rehearsals in Vila Vintém, marking the beginning of a new cycle of preparation.
