A atriz Alba Regina Tavares, presença marcante no Acadêmicos do Salgueiro há mais de duas décadas, viverá em 2026 um dos momentos mais especiais de sua trajetória na Vermelho e Branco. Após mais de 20 anos desfilando como composição de carro alegórico, Alba foi convidada a estrear como destaque no último carro da agremiação, que neste carnaval homenageia a carnavalesca Rosa Magalhães.
Na última semana, Alba esteve no barracão do Salgueiro para conhecer sua fantasia e recebeu das mãos do carnavalesco Jorge Silveira o croqui com todos os detalhes. O encontro reforçou a emoção da atriz diante da nova responsabilidade. “É um privilégio enorme. O Salgueiro é minha casa há tantos anos, e poder viver essa estreia como destaque justamente no ano em que Rosa Magalhães é exaltada torna tudo ainda mais simbólico e especial para mim. E é claro, irei desfilar com a mesma responsabilidade e amor, que é o que me move há tantos anos a fazer parte da família salgueirense”, afirmou.
Com uma carreira consolidada na TV e no cinema, Alba Regina Tavares já integrou o elenco de novelas como “Terra e Paixão” da TV Globo, onde interpretou a dançarina de pole dance Polerina, além de várias participações em projetos da TV Globo, como as novelas “Beleza Pura” e “Sete Pecados”. No cinema, participou de algumas produções, como o longa “Desapega”, que contou com Gloria Pires no elenco.
A presença da atriz como destaque promete acrescentar ainda mais brilho ao desfile salgueirense, reforçando a conexão entre arte, emoção e a grandeza do carnaval carioca.

Actress Alba Regina Tavares, a prominent presence at Acadêmicos do Salgueiro for more than two decades, will experience one of the most special moments of her journey with the Red and White in 2026. After over 20 years parading as part of a float ensemble, Alba has been invited to make her debut as a highlight performer on the school’s last float, which this Carnival pays tribute to the renowned carnavalesca Rosa Magalhães.
Last week, Alba visited Salgueiro’s barracão to see her costume for the first time and received the sketch with all the details directly from carnavalesco Jorge Silveira. The meeting amplified the actress’s emotion as she embraced her new responsibility.
“It’s an enormous privilege. Salgueiro has been my home for so many years, and getting to make my debut as a highlight performer in the very year when Rosa Magalhães is being honored makes everything even more symbolic and special for me. And of course, I will parade with the same responsibility and love that have motivated me for so many years to be part of the Salgueiro family,” she said.
With a solid career in television and film, Alba Regina Tavares has been part of soap operas such as TV Globo’s Terra e Paixão, where she played Polerina, a pole dance performer, as well as several other productions from the network, including Beleza Pura and Sete Pecados. In cinema, she appeared in films such as Desapega, which starred Glória Pires.
