A Unidos de Vila Isabel lotou o Boulevard 28 de Setembro, na noite desta quarta-feira (10), em mais um ensaio de rua. Em clima de festa no pavilhão azul e branco, a vila mostrou a força da comunidade e o comprometimento da escola para o carnaval de 2026.
A apresentação serviu também como aquecimento para o próximo compromisso da agremiação, o aguardado ensaio no Morro dos Macacos, que acontece neste domingo (14). A atividade reforça a ligação da Vila Isabel com a sua comunidade.
“O ensaio no Morro dos Macacos é sempre especial. É onde sentimos, de maneira mais profunda, a energia da nossa comunidade. Ensaiar em casa, perto das nossas raízes, fortalece cada segmento e nos lembra por que fazemos Carnaval”, destaca o diretor de Carnaval, Moisés Carvalho.
A concentração está marcada para às 16h, na quadra do CIEP, localizada na Rua Armando de Albuquerque. Todos os segmentos da escola estarão presentes para mais um importante passo rumo ao desfile oficial.
No próximo Carnaval, a Vila Isabel apresentará o enredo “Macumbembê, Samborembá: Sonhei que um sambista sonhou a África”, desenvolvido pelos carnavalescos Gabriel Haddad e Leonardo Bora, com pesquisa de Vinicius Natal. A narrativa presta homenagem à arte, à ancestralidade e ao samba, celebrando a memória do multiartista Heitor dos Prazeres, um dos grandes nomes da cultura popular brasileira.

Unidos de Vila Isabel packed Boulevard 28 de Setembro on Wednesday night (10) for another street rehearsal. In a festive atmosphere draped in blue and white, the school showcased the strength of its community and its commitment to the 2026 Carnival. The presentation also served as a warm-up for the next big engagement: the highly anticipated rehearsal at Morro dos Macacos, taking place this Sunday (14). The activity reinforces Vila Isabel’s deep connection with its community.
“The rehearsal at Morro dos Macacos is always special. It’s where we truly feel the energy of our community in a profound way. Rehearsing at home, close to our roots, strengthens every segment and reminds us why we do Carnival,” highlights the Carnival director, Moisés Carvalho.
The gathering is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the CIEP court, located on Armando de Albuquerque Street. All segments of the school will be present for another important step toward the official parade.
Next Carnival, Vila Isabel will present the theme “Macumbembê, Samborembá: I Dreamed That a Sambista Dreamed of Africa,” developed by carnival designers Gabriel Haddad and Leonardo Bora, with research by Vinicius Natal. The narrative pays tribute to art, ancestry, and samba, celebrating the legacy of multi-artist Heitor dos Prazeres, one of the great names of Brazilian popular culture.
