O ator Samuel de Assis recebeu nesta terça-feira, dia 16, o figurino que usará no desfile da Beija-Flor de Nilópolis no Carnaval 2026. A entrega aconteceu no barracão da escola, na Cidade do Samba, pelas mãos do carnavalesco João Vitor Araújo.
Este será o terceiro ano consecutivo de Samuel de Assis desfilando pela Beija-Flor. Durante a visita, o ator acompanhou de perto o processo de criação das fantasias e alegorias e conheceu detalhes do enredo “Bembé”, que levará para a Marquês de Sapucaí a força ancestral do Bembé do Mercado, manifestação cultural e religiosa de Santo Amaro da Purificação, no Recôncavo Baiano.
Encantado com a fantasia e com a relação construída com a escola, Samuel falou sobre a emoção de mais um Carnaval ao lado da comunidade nilopolitana. “Eu amei a fantasia. É um trabalho lindo, cheio de cuidado, de significado e de verdade. A Beija-Flor virou um espaço muito especial pra mim, um lugar onde me sinto acolhido, respeitado e conectado com uma história que é muito maior do que o desfile. Estar aqui mais um ano é sempre uma alegria enorme e um privilégio”, afirmou o ator.
Ao comentar o que o público pode esperar de sua participação na Avenida, Samuel preferiu manter o mistério. “Ainda é segredo, não posso contar muita coisa, mas posso garantir que é uma fantasia muito forte e simbólica. Muito importante viver essa personagem nesse meu momento de vida. Impressionante como o universo conspira a favor quando você trabalha a sua espiritualidade e o seu psicológico. O público pode esperar emoção, ancestralidade e entrega. É um desfile que fala de força, de memória e de identidade, e fazer parte disso com a Beija-Flor torna tudo ainda mais especial”, completou.
Responsável pela criação do figurino, o carnavalesco João Vitor Araújo explicou o conceito pensado especialmente para o ator. “A ideia foi criar um figurino rico em detalhes, que dialogasse com a personalidade do Samuel, com a elegância e a presença que ele tem na Avenida, e que ao mesmo tempo homenageasse o enredo do jeito que ele merece. É uma fantasia que carrega simbologia, narrativa e muito respeito à história que estamos contando”, destacou.
A Beija-Flor de Nilópolis será a segunda escola a desfilar na segunda-feira de Carnaval, no dia 16 de fevereiro de 2026.

Samuel de Assis receives Beija-Flor costume for Carnival 2026
Actor Samuel de Assis received, this Tuesday, the 16th, the costume he will wear in Beija-Flor de Nilópolis’ parade at Carnival 2026. The presentation took place at the school’s workshop at Cidade do Samba and was delivered by carnival designer João Vitor Araújo. This will be the third consecutive year that Samuel de Assis parades with Beija-Flor.
During the visit, the actor closely followed the process of creating the costumes and floats and learned details about the theme “Bembé”, which will bring to the Marquês de Sapucaí the ancestral strength of the Bembé do Mercado, a cultural and religious expression from Santo Amaro da Purificação, in the Recôncavo Baiano.
Delighted with the costume and with the bond he has built with the school, Samuel spoke about the emotion of experiencing another Carnival alongside the Nilópolis community. “I loved the costume. It’s a beautiful piece of work, full of care, meaning, and truth. Beija-Flor has become a very special place for me, a space where I feel welcomed, respected, and connected to a story that is much bigger than the parade itself. Being here for another year is always a huge joy and a privilege,” the actor said.
When commenting on what the public can expect from his appearance on the Avenue, Samuel chose to keep things mysterious. “It’s still a secret, I can’t say much, but I can guarantee it’s a very powerful and symbolic costume. It’s very important to live this character at this moment in my life. It’s impressive how the universe conspires in your favor when you work on your spirituality and mental strength. The audience can expect emotion, ancestry, and total dedication. It’s a parade that speaks of strength, memory, and identity, and being part of this with Beija-Flor makes everything even more special,” he added.
Responsible for creating the costume, carnival designer João Vitor Araújo explained the concept developed especially for the actor. “The idea was to create a costume rich in detail, one that dialogued with Samuel’s personality, with the elegance and presence he brings to the Avenue, while at the same time honoring the theme in the way it deserves. It’s a costume that carries symbolism, narrative, and great respect for the story we are telling,” he emphasized.
Beija-Flor de Nilópolis will be the second school to parade on Carnival Monday, February 16, 2026.
