Sob a assinatura do cineasta e escritor Angelo Santoro, a série de filmes mergulha no suspense e no terror de vanguarda para questionar a moralidade humana.
Um Triunfo da Resistência
Mesmo sem patrocínios oficiais, Pharmakon alcançou a marca expressiva de 500 espectadores. O sucesso não se mede apenas em números, mas na euforia pós-sessão: debates acalorados sobre as teorias da trama tomam conta dos corredores, alimentando uma ansiedade crescente por novos episódios.
O Reality Show Intergaláctico: Um espelho da podridão humana
A premissa é tão original quanto perturbadora: um reality show intergaláctico, comandado pelo enigmático Pharmakon (vivido por Lip D’carli), expõe as falhas sociais mais grotescas. Enquanto o primeiro capítulo focou na dependência, a nova fase disseca a corrupção e a ganância familiar.
Em entrevista, Angelo Santoro revelou a motivação por trás da obra:
“O filme mostra absurdos humanos muitas vezes normalizados pela repetição na sociedade. Minha visão traz a provocação: como seriam os olhares e as críticas de nossos ‘vizinhos intergalácticos’ diante desses comportamentos? O que me admira é ouvir do público que eles identificam os personagens com alguém de seu próprio convívio social”, afirma o diretor.
Santoro também destaca a estética vintage e fantasiosa do longa, fruto de suas referências ao cinema clássico e lúdico: “O roteiro de Pharmakon pedia essa atmosfera. É uma forma crítica, mas também artística, de encarar nossas falhas.”

The Pharmakon saga, a highlight of the Cine Tupyfagia showcase, has established itself as a must-see at the iconic Estação Net Botafogo. Under the signature of filmmaker and writer Angelo Santoro, the film series dives into cutting-edge suspense and horror to question human morality.
A Triumph of Resistance
Even without official sponsorship, Pharmakon reached the impressive mark of 500 spectators. The success is measured not only in numbers, but in the post-screening euphoria: heated debates over the plot’s theories spill into the hallways, fueling growing anticipation for new episodes.
The Intergalactic Reality Show: a mirror of human decay
The premise is as original as it is unsettling: an intergalactic reality show, hosted by the enigmatic Pharmakon (played by Lip D’carli), exposes society’s most grotesque flaws. While the first chapter focused on addiction, the new phase dissects corruption and familial greed.
In an interview, Angelo Santoro revealed the motivation behind the project:
“The film shows human absurdities that are often normalized through repetition in society. My vision brings the provocation: what would the gaze and criticism of our ‘intergalactic neighbors’ be when faced with these behaviors? What amazes me is hearing from the audience that they recognize the characters as people from their own social circles,” says the director.
Santoro also highlights the film’s vintage, fantastical aesthetic, born of his references to classic, playful cinema:
“The Pharmakon script called for that atmosphere. It’s a critical, but also artistic, way of confronting our flaws.”
Collective Strength and Cast
No phenomenon is born alone. Santoro makes a point of praising the team behind the project, citing screenwriter and assistant director Felippe Napolitano, cinematographer Marcelo Delfino, and assistants Helen Iris and Alessandro Verás.
